These are NOT the same gospel

Yeah, it makes no sense that if you want to communicate the gospel to someone you do so in a language they can understand, otherwise you are just making noise.

Why not??? It was you that decided to start believing, and it is you that decides to continue to believe. No works involved with either. I don't care how shocked you are about anything. I still believe and I know it is me that makes the choice to continue to believe and to continue not to rebel...

Yep, it was about the natural branches (Israel) losing their believing faith and being cut off for it. And it was about the wild branches (Gentiles) losing their believing faith and being cut off for it.

Likewise, one could say that you putting your believing faith in God helped you be saved. Your initial trusting faith is no more a work than your continuance of trusting faith is.

According to Paul, yes. He says the natural branches are only removed due to them no longer believing, and for the wild branches not to think the same won't happen to them due to them no longer believing. Start believing - you're in. Stop believing - you're out.

I'm going to have to disagree. Believing faith is what it takes to have eternal life. If that goes away, then there is only one conclusion.

These are NOT the same gospel

No it is not a work. If your believing faith was a work then it would be merited and not grace. So do you claim that when you made the decision to place your believing faith in Christ that you merited it????

Why wouldn't they deserve the same punishment as any other that has rebelled against Him by choosing another god to place their faith in?

These are NOT the same gospel

Who you decide to place your trusting faith in is not a work.

It's not a contradiction to say your trusting faith must be in YHWH only CONTINUALLY.

Some saw or heard and chose to believe the God of Israel was the true Most High God (the superior one). As God demonstrated with His dealing of Egypt. Some rebelled and just chose to trust in other gods.

How is persevering your believing faith a work?

I don't get it either. To preach the gospel to a crowd in a tongue they can't understand is a futile way to preach the gospel.

God's work through Israel showed the whole world which god was the Most High God.

These are NOT the same gospel

It is salvation by faith, not works. One's works do not produce one's faith. Are you now saying that your believing faith is a work????

Then anyone that abandons worship of YHWH for another won't be there. Thanks for agreeing. So why have you been acting as though what I said is a problem? Then you haven't been paying attention. I have been saying for years that no one has ever been saved unto eternal life apart from grace...

Me??? You have not answered whether there will be any Baal worshippers in the new heaven and new earth. So hold yourself to the same standard you hold others to.

These are NOT the same gospel

First of all I don't have doubts that YHWH is the Most High God, so you can put that accusation in the trash where it belongs. It is Paul that makes the statement that one can fall from grace which makes Christ of no advantage to them. Choices has consequences, and Paul is telling them not to...

I thought ya'll read Paul. Romans 11:4 ESV (4) But what is God's reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
