I haven't noted much concern for oppressed Christian communities in this forum. Being anti-mask is far more important than worrying about Copts or some other far away group.
It is a huge problem for the workers- I am not callous, and I do not think of them as ignorant hicks. Your mudslinging is noted. I am pointing out that this has happened to workers in many industries over the years.
So: what do you suggest as a solution? Or who do you blame?
Lockdown is being eased up. Hospitalizations are down. We are waiting to see how things continue as the lockdown is eased up. There is a lot that isn't known, despite our best efforts.
And honestly- masks are small change. For some reason they've become a Symbol- but they are just a minor...
We're at about 48% of the population vaccinated here (in Israel). This includes >80% of everybody over age 50 ( at least one 'jab'), and >50% of people over the age of 20. So far the results have been very good, but only time will tell.
See here...
I think we also need to face the facts: No system is set up to handle extreme conditions. It is simply too expensive to do so. It is a wonderful opportunity to try and pin the blame on somebody, but completely hurricane, earthquake and blizzard proof electrical systems (or any other public...
When I referred to President Trump as "Trump"- I got some criticism here. So I changed how I referred to him- even though I have little respect for him- he was the President, and I can respect the office. I think others can bite the bullet and use the correct title.
Why is it that I was told, on this forum, to refer to President Trump by his correct title, yet many here feel they can't call President Biden by his correct title? You should be able to do that- even while he is doing bad things.
so the only question is- how does one judge whether a theory is 'wild speculation' or a reasonable conclusion?
Honestly- if there was no Bible- what would you think of, say, the fossil record?
This isn't a political issue. Nobody decided "out of the blue" to destroy people's livelihoods. This epidemic has costs, both in life and in economy, and it is very difficult to balance things- especially when there are so many unknowns.
Lockdowns cause real damage- I don't think anybody denies...
A Prime Example of you misreading things to match your narrative.
The vaccine was not "banned".
Here's what your Reuters link says:
NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc said on Friday it had withdrawn an application for emergency-use authorisation of its COVID-19 vaccine in India, after failing...
You can go ahead and redefine things as much as you want. Just like Humpty Dumpty:
'And only one for birthday presents, you know. There's glory for you!'
'I don't know what you mean by "glory",' Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. 'Of course you don't — till I tell you. I meant...
He is the President of the United States. Same As Trump was, same as Obama was.
He needs to be tougher on the Chinese (and in foreign policy in general) - and talking about 'cultural norms' with what is going on with the Uyghurs in China is a very bad way of doing this.
I will point out that...
Freeloaders statement remains false, and your "well, they might do it again" and "they didn't apologize" story sounds exactly like what it is- pathetic.
ffreeloader wrote that "he UK is socialist. They have nationalized, put government in control, of most, if not all, of their industries."- so you 'prove' this by throwing the 1945 labor party platform at me! And they aren't even in power now!

What you are describing now is a contamination in the original polio vaccine- 60 or 70 years ago. It is not a secret, and is reported in normal mainstream media...
