Hi 6days - I was thinking of the Christmas Cactus (You might call it a Thanksgiving Cactus, perhaps?). The stem is segmented, and when stressed segments can fall off and root in damp soil. They're cool, almost immune to pests, and they tolerate me forgetting me to water them for weeks at a time!

Now I understand Mark. He's a Old Earth, Young Life Creationist. God acted on an already existing created earth/universe that was dead and brought life to it in 6 days about 6000 years ago. I have never met one of those before. Don't agree but there are worse things to believe.
