Is there a risk of death from the covid vaccine?

So, what is it then?
Here are some verses from Mark 9:

42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

So, what, you think it's some literal, fiery place then?

Poor disabled Stevie. He thought of himself as something of a genius who was going to find the key to the universe and disprove God. What a moron.
You are a heartless jerk. And you probably do not know the difference between a differential equation and a bag of pork rinds.

Oh and yes: you are an habitual liar - as if that is news to anyone.

vaccine is a .7% to 1.1% absolute risk reduction

8÷21720 = 3.68 x100=.03 in Pfzier/BioNTe
162÷21726=.007 x100=.74 placebo

.74 - .03= .71

11÷15210=7.23 x 100= .07 Moderna vacc
185÷15210= .012 x100= 1.21 placebo

1.21 - .07 = 1.1

which is vaccine .7% to 1.1% absolute risk reduction
Pinhead.

We have been through this before:

Let me try to makes this as simple as possible: Say you have 100 people who don’t get a vaccine, and you find that 10 of them catch the disease. So the baseline risk of getting it is 10%. And suppose that 100 other people get the vaccine, and only 1 of these gets sick. Their risk is 1%. The absolute risk reduction (ARR) is then just 9% (10% minus 1%), because the risk was already pretty low. But the relative risk reduction (RRR) is 90%—that reduction of 9% divided by the baseline risk of 10%.

You do not need to be a genius to realize that relative risk is what matters in the setting where a disease has the potential to explode through the population, as is the case with Covid. Hence, the relatively low figure of 9% is profoundly misleading. Think people think! How many of those 100 would get Covid with no vaccines and no other preventive measures - about 70% the experts say. The disease would spread and spread till herd immunity is achieved.

Let's revisit this scenario above with that in mind. What would we expect if instead of only 10 getting sick in the unvaccinated population, 70 would get sick, as would be the case for Covid? Here is what we would get: 70 in the unvaccinated get sick, 7 in the vaccinated group get sick.

Class dismissed.

Your post is misleading.

He was a genius and where did he state his intention to disprove God exactly? What a nice guy you are, eh?

Don't go into psychology whatever you do. Your reasoning is as simplistic as it gets.
The basics are simple.

An atheist's starting point is the rejection of the existence of the Creator. They entire world view is derived from that starting point. That is why they believe in life from non-life. Life is obvious... where did it come from?

Anyway, COVID is a problem and myths about it abound. Like the myth that masks make a BIG difference in the transmission of the disease. When the reality is that the DATA clearly shows a completely marginal impact.

God did not create the universe, the man who is arguably Britain's most famous living scientist says in a forthcoming book.

In the new work, The Grand Design, Professor Stephen Hawking argues that the Big Bang, rather than occurring following the intervention of a divine being, was inevitable due to the law of gravity.

LONDON (Reuters) - God did not create the universe and the “Big Bang” was an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics, the eminent British theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking argues in a new book.

The problem here is the goalposts keep moving. Is the goal of the shot to reduce deaths and hospitalizations, or is it to reduce the number of people overall who get sick from SARS2? And what constitutes being "sick?" I had it last year and had headaches, fatigue, loss of taste and smell. I was sick but my sickness was not the same as grandma getting sick and going to the hospital with extreme difficulty breathing. I don't need the vaccine because I got the virus and now have immunity. For me to take the vaccine would be a waste of time and money and would put me at unnecessary risk of side effects.

One thing is certain: the vaccine is not effective at preventing infections. Now the question becomes of the people who have somehow avoided getting the virus all this time, will the vaccine reduce their risk of death or hospitalization should they become infected? And if so, by how much?

Well, basic and simple kinda sums your post up really.

That isn't an atheist's "starting point". In that essence, someone who doesn't believe in the likelihood of a deity isn't 'rejecting the existence of the creator', they don't believe that it's likely that there's one to reject.

I could care less about yours and other's hang ups with wearing masks. I still wear mine and even if the difference is marginal it's nothing to continually whine about.

It's age is completely irrelevant.

He was explaining how God was not needed for "creation" to occur. He was dead wrong.
Thought you might have had something a bit more recent is all. So what if he was wrong? He was a human being, kinda goes with the territory. Sure doesn't deserve all of this 'he's in "hell" garbage' because of it.

I didn't want it to be too hard for you.

Their starting point is rejection of God. That is exactly why the are atheists.

A-THEIST means NO GOD. Nothing to do with "the likelihood of a deity". If they were not believing in "the likelihood of a deity", they would be agnostics.

Nor I yours.

Good for you. I hope that is doesn't impact your health too badly.

I never specifically said "he's in hell". But if he rejected God's salvation, that is his destination per God's Word.
Is this another place that you will claim to be a Christ, but reject God's Word?
Don't tell me, let me guess.... you know better than God.
