Why would he treat his religious right followers any different than he treats the rest of them? He thinks they are all fools.

Was thinking of you the past few days listening to Ted Cruz and the Amy Barrett hearings. I was impressed by Cruz (and Barrett)
I don't trust anyone that Donald Trump nominates or appoints. Mrs. Barrett was also approved by the libertarian Federalist Society, which should be a huge red flag to conservatives. If she's confirmed, she'll know her place and not make waves.
Cruz
I was impressed by Cruz.
I know he's your boy.
It's refreshing to see a Republican speak the truth about Donald Trump:
GOP’s Sen. Sasse says Trump mistreats women, flirts with white supremacy and secretly mocks evangelicals
Oct. 15, 2020
Sen. Ben Sasse eviscerated President Trump during a phone call with constituents in which the Nebraska Republican accused the president of cozying up to dictators, mistreating women, flirting with white supremacists and irresponsibly handling the coronavirus pandemic. …
And yet he did not vote to impeach him ...
Too little, too late.
I'm sure that Ben Sasse paid attention to what Senator Ted Cruz went through when Cruz had the courage to tell his followers to vote their conscience during the 2016 Presidential election (death threats, threats of being disowned by the Republican Party).
Speaking the truth about Donald Trump near election time isn't too little or too late, it's great timing on Senator Sasse's part, as he's obviously tired of this liberal President as much as other conservatives are.
Or perhaps he is only speaking out because he believe trump is dragging them all down ...
It's no secret that many Republicans foresee a Joe Biden victory in November and don't want to be associated with Donald Trump.
it'll be fun to watch them scramble when he wins :chuckle:
That cartoon is spot on. He won’t go quietly ...
He will not win, though I have no doubt he is planning to steal the election.
If this is some ploy to paint us as allies, it's not working.
LOL, not hardly. One of the few things you have been right about in the nine years you have been on TOL is your anti-trump advocacy.
I look forward to 4 more years of exposing Donald Trump for the liberal that he is, but on the other hand a Trump loss would hopefully send you libertarians packing back to your own Party .
