We seem to be revisiting my earlier comment here, but maybe that's a good thing?
I presume that you are a Calvinist and that you believe as you do because over the years that is what your sect has taught to you?
...But who knows, perhaps Calvinism, of all the many varying religious beliefs around, has actually nailed it, unlike all the others?
You are of course entitled to your beliefs TulipBee, just as I am that in actually you have no greater ability to know any ultimate truths than I do or any other mere mortal being has. In all probability imo you are just as hopelessly wrong and all at sea as anyone else is.
But if you have convinced yourself otherwise and it makes you happy then so be it since I anyway can offer no one, not even a selected few, any hope of any continued life after death. :idunno:
As an atheist I've never had any problem accepting my own personal eventual demise and oblivion, it's what I expect. Sometimes however I think it might be nicer to live out this life under a delusion of there being a personal future existence for me after death, but I don't. Believe away TulipBee, by all means believe away.
What calvinist????
