The way I understand it, starting at Pentecost there was no more Israel as far as God's children is concerned. The only way to God is through Jesus and that is what was preached on Pentecost. Even the passage you referenced alludes to people being saved with no discrimination as far as what nation you belong to.

Jn. 12:44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me.

When Jesus sent out the apostles to preach the gospel, he did not send them to Israel but to everyone.
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation .

Yes, Israel heard it first on Pentecost but that is exactly what Paul said would happen. Jew first.
Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

I'm wary of anyone who refers to the greek or Hebrew to support a doctrine that isn't there in English.

Why? Sometimes there's a loss in translation so the way to get to the heart of the matter is to consult the original language. However, beware NT Gk and Hebrew takes years of study to master. I admit that I have only a basic understanding of NT Gk.

Jesus did not send them out to preach the gospel did he? After his D,B &R he did send them out to preach the gospel to EVERYONE, not just Israel.

Hi to all , and there are many verses that prove it !!

In Eph 1:4 , that He CHOSE us for Himself in Him before ( the ) overthrow of ( the ) world ( for ) us to be holy and without blemish BEFORE Him in love !!

The other verse is in 2 Tim 1:9 " to ( His ) own purpose and Grace having been given is " in Christ " before ( the ) related to the AGES !

This proves that God chose us before Israel and Pentecost and before all cults , like the RCC , Mormons and the like !!

What many forget is that SAUL / PAUL was THEN before the 12 and Peter , WHY ??

Gal 1:15 says that SAUL / PAUL was saved OR SEPARATED by Grace from the WOMB , some 33 years BEFORE Peter !!

So , Grace is before Pentecost !!

8 Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his household, and many of the Corinthians when they heard were believing and being baptized.
Next chapter he went into the synaogogue.
19:8 And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God.

I agree, Israel as God's people is over. Christians are now God's people. The kingdom was established and we are part of it.

Jews can be saved and are saved in the dispensation of Grace , BUT in the Body of Christ there are NO Jews , nor Gentiles as ALL lose there Identity in Christ and all the members become a NEW MAN as written in Eph 2:15 !!
