That is true. But St. Louis also did the little things right, running hard to first base to beat out a throw, etc. One little thing that was WAY overlooked was Yadier Molina. He really deserved the MVP. The way he personally kept an obviously nervous Wainwright from totally imploding was amazing. He hit well, he called the pitches well for his pitchers. He was an amazing team leader for such a young guy. If you actually get a chance to watch tapes of the games, you will see what I mean. I really think HE was the Cards most valuable player.
