Who Here Chose To Be Heterosexual?

I don't know how anyone can stomache the faking and inauthentic living for any longer than that.

I lived as a homosexual for quite a number of years. I don't know how I managed to stomach living a lie for as long as that.

I find it interesting that you speak of authenticity when homosexual relationships are just the opposite, they are counterfeit.

It takes a lot to admit that you are a sinner and in need of God's grace. Many homosexuals that I've met are too proud to see their sin and their need of God. Yet to do so is the most authentic thing one can do.

You are one of the thousands that has an Achilles heel and you chose to give in to it instead choosing to walk away or seeking help to overcome it. Your post is loaded with excuses. Every human being has flaws in their make up that form as a result of their up bringing or poor choices they make. Perhaps it is bad parenting, or hanging out with the wrong crowd that causes character flaws to form. No one is born homosexual, or a thief, or a liar etc. These behaviors form, perhaps as a dysfunctional way of coping. They are still sins in the eyes of God and giving into them and making excuses for them are a cop out.

You kinda liked it at the time, no?

You are easily amused. Gay or straight, anyone who behaves in contrast to who they actually are is being inauthentic.

It takes a lot to admit that you are a sinner and in need of God's grace.
Sometimes it takes a tumor in the frontal lobe.

Did/do you have such a heel? How does your hubby feel about that?
Hubby loves me very much for taking strong stands. I am not a wimp that makes a lifestyle of my flaws like you.

So you think that homosexuals have somehow chosen to be weird and that secretly it's the opposite sex that actually turns them on?

It sounds more like he believes they choose to be weird and they want everyone else to be weird too. Personally, in my 30 years I've never had a lesbian hit on me. I've had plenty of dirty men say inappropriate things but that's alright, at least they aren't gay!

Don't fret, poppet. I am quite sure many lesbians have found you attractive, but they know the importance of honoring who you really are and would not bother you- something these xtians cannot master.

Of course. Sin often seems good at the time. Yet I saw that I was wrong and had to swallow my pride enough to admit that. I realised that I was not living up to God's standard, I was a sinner in need of a Saviour.

A homosexual is not who someone is. Homosexuality is about what someone does.

Sometimes it takes a tumor in the frontal lobe.

I will pray for you :)

:darwinsm:

Are you being serious? Homosexuals know the importance of honoring people? I don't think there's a more oppressive force than the 'gay rights' community. As long as we subscribe to a fully pro-homo worldview there's no problem. But should one dare to dissent, they're labelled racist, bigots, homophobic, or even worse they get compared to Hitler or accused of being responsible for teen suicides.

Furthermore, how could you *choose* to be homosexual if you're straight?

yes, I believe what the word of God says. I believe that men and women are different and have different body parts that fit together in a specific way, and that they were made for a specific reason- i also agree on how i am suppose to use those parts and with whom i am suppose to use them.

Lastly since i choose to have sex or not (i will not die if i don't have sex) then yes i choose to be what God made me and agree with Him on it.

Does not the thief choose to steal or not? We choose what we will do with our will right or wrong and we make those choices daily on different levels.

Like the thief has an impulse (temptation) to steal within him, he *can* choose not to and answer his conscience correctly before God.

Actually i was hit on quite often when i had my first job in high school -by lesbians, as i worked in a retail store in an area of the city where there was a large gay community.

Many of them didn't want to get the no for an answer either, same as the leech type men keep hitting up on you inappropriately.

Outside of their "home base" area though, you are right, i was never approached and hit on by them.

Think where they are most in their comfort zone might have a little something to do with it?

Or do you actually believe there are not predatory lesbians like there are predatory males toward women?

I wish I could say I had never been hit on by a homo. It was pretty gross!

My husband has had that experience but they were not rude at all. More subtle then some of the women. They will flirt with him right in front of my face.

I think glass eaters 'can' stop eating glass, yes. You are the one duped into not thinking so, not me. Yes, is my answer, it is indeed about appropriate ingestion behavior. It is just this clear and simple imo.

The above is all bigoted poppycock btw. Are you then saying that in your case you actually consciously chose your own sexual preferences or maybe had to have it drilled into you by your parents or notable others? Otherwise the lure of homosexuality might have tempted you away? ...Pull the other one.
What possible reason would someone have to seek gay relationships unless they just happen to be gay or bisexual? And if they just are gay then it is clearly no character flaw but simply what is natural and normal for them, get off their backs with your homophobic bigotry. :AMR:
Attention, for one. Whether it is negative or not, they are seeking something. Every homosexual I know of has these same excuses about abusive parenting and role/gender confusions. That means...ta dah...behavioral problem. Get a clue. It is no less dissenting behavior than a child hurt by a divorce. A hurt and reaction is a hurt and reaction, not the "new normal." Kids shouldn't have to 'get over' a divorce, it is still socially, emotionally, spiritually not good for the child. In the same manner, homosexuality is not the 'new acceptable norm.' You people need to get a major clue. Let's not make up new 'low bars' for our kids. Its demeaning and psychotic.

I used to work with one who would hang out in the locker room watching the guys change. Management wasn't interested in hearing complaints so we just changed elsewhere.
