Derf will go to any lengths to subvert Paul's gospel. It's no wonder Paul says people who add to his gospel shall be accursed. Derf is trying to add the entire Kingdom gospel ....which was law....onto the gospel of grace. That's what we're facing in these last days.I explained my reason. I don't need your opinion of my motives.
I know it, and the scripture prove me right.Just because you think it, doesn't make it so.
The remnant is the remnant of Israel, so no. But a believing gentile is superior to an unbelieving Israelite. That lady in Matt. 15 was like the thief hanging on the cross....faith alone. Wouldn't they be part of the remnant?
Hey !I know it, and the scripture prove me right.
So Peter and the twelve would be included in that remnant. Right? As are all those believers in the Jerusalem church. The remnant is the remnant of Israel, so no. But a believing gentile is superior to an unbelieving Israelite.
Isa 10:20-23 (AKJV/PCE)
(10:20) ¶ And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. (10:21) The remnant shall return, [even] the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. (10:22) For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, [yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. (10:23) For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
Jesus came for the remnant, to separate them from the rest of Israel.
Absolutely!!So Peter and the twelve would be included in that remnant. Right? As are all those believers in the Jerusalem church.
I was talking about calling me a liar.I explained my reason. I don't need your opinion of my motives.
Why is it false? You accused me of drinking the kool aid. That is a false accusation.
You're just about to lose all the respect I had for you, Derf. Why is it false?
Makes one really wonder if his first name was really Fred. You're just about to lose all the respect I had for you, Derf.
The fact is....you are so used to blenderizing the scripture that you can't tell the difference between law and grace.
Or Ferd.Makes one really wonder if his first name was really Fred.
Which is not an answer to my question. You're just about to lose all the respect I had for you, Derf.
The fact is....you are so used to blenderizing the scripture that you can't tell the difference between law and grace.
John 1:17 " For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."You're just about to lose all the respect I had for you, Derf.
The fact is....you are so used to blenderizing the scripture that you can't tell the difference between law and grace.
Have you ever noticed that the word "grace" is completely missing from two of the four "gospels" (Matthew and Mark).John 1:17 " For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."
And yet it's here mentioned right in John chapter one. Curious, that.Have you ever noticed that the word "grace" is completely missing from two of the four "gospels" (Matthew and Mark).
So two of the "gospels" are mistaken? And yet it's here mentioned right in John chapter one. Curious, that.
John must have been mistaken to say " ... grace ... came by Jesus Christ." He must have meant by Paul.So two of the "gospels" are mistaken?
How could Matthew and Mark write a "gospel" without grace?John must have been mistaken to say " ... grace ... came by Jesus Christ." He must have meant by Paul.
How did John? How could Matthew and Mark write a "gospel" without grace?
