What was the appearance of the three [LORD,lords] who visited Abraham.

have you ever noticed the Quran using the term " "Injil" " when referring to the Gospels

perhaps this was to promote the Greek word "" ángelos " meaning "messenger" or "angel,"

the word angel has roots in ancient Greek literature and philosophy and also is similar to the word " "Injil" "
perhaps Mohammud was attempting to use a Greek form of the word " Message " referring to the Gospel which means

euaggelion = good message / good news as " "Injil" " - as a side note, the word " "Injil" " is not an Aabic word but is of unknown origin to most people
Hello Insight me. Personally, I can only speak what I know about how the King James English Translation uses the word angel. Angel and angelic is referring to a sentient super-natural being of the heavenly sort. That means it is humanoid.

God created the super-natural angelic beings. Just like he created the humanoid sentient being of our natural realm. You may find this interesting: When God sent Adam and Eve from the Garden, they were not allowed back... BUT noting is said about angels, Lucifer/Satan not going and coming in and out.

Now regarding God's created visible super-natural bodily form/ his image, It seems that God could appear to mankind with it and go back and forth as well. His image could dwell in fire and God could also lower the intensity of its glory in order to speak to people. 74 men saw God's presence and ate and drank in his presence and were not harmed. Exodus 24:9-11. God, with his super-natural bodily form is not limited in the way we are with ours. We have one body and it manifests once physically. God can manifest his image as often as he want ... but Genesis says that HE, the ONE God, created a singular image for "our use." God already had in mind to appear to men in multiple ways but still use only his one image to represent his being ONE God.

God happened to prove for Abraham and Lot that he was willing to use his ONE image to represent HIM as three visible identical Lords. It should be easy now to understand how Jesus was correct to say: When you have SEEN ME, you HAVE SEEN the Father. They are both God just one appeared as a super-natural angelic presence (sometimes called the angel of the LORD) and the other appeared in mortal flesh. Same ONE image... so they looked alike! If anyone had seen the Father they would have recognized Jesus ... and been able to accept that he was the promised one to come. Isaiah 43:11 I (God the Spirit), even I, am the LORD (God's appearing with his visible created presence); beside me (as God and as the visible LORD) there is no Savior.

Jesus was just that ... God finally appearing as Lord on earth as Emmanuel the promised Savior. No man at any time had ever seen God as the begotten Son/Savior! John the Baptist proclaimed him to the world. John 1:18

These three Lords were all the one God on the same mission. Able to talk with Abraham, so see Lot, and still accomplish their mission that night in the streets of Sodom. Multi tasking in its greatest form! Because they were the ONE God they bore God's ONE image ... just in triplicate. Lamentations 4:7 compares their angelic visible bodies with the bodies of the people destroyed in Sodom --- words like: purer than snow, whiter than milk, ruddy in body than rubies, with polishing of sapphire. The bodies of the people of Sodom are described this way: a visage blacker than a coal, with skin that cleaveth to their bones;, whithered, like a stick.

Quickly, I believe the three were:
Super natural male beings who appeared in the likeness of humanity.
One was The LORD God who stayed behind to talk to Abraham.
The other two Lords were just as super-natural and there was a reason Abraham addressed all three in a similar way as lords/Lords/LORD.
All three were working in one accord to accomplish God's will.

First a question and statement: What is the difference in God and LORD.
My conclusions succinctly:
God / Elohim is an invisible Spirit.
God created a living visible form/image to represent himself within what he created. Adam's body was actually formed after the looks of that male image and likeness.
God gave His Image a name a Name. YHWH / LORD the LORD God

Now I can provide scripture for my thoughts if anyone wishes.

Moving on: From where do I get my ideas about how the three looked? Well, when I saw these next verses it opened my eyes to other things I had been contemplating.
Lamentations 4:6,7,8 They are verses talking about:
The punish to come upon Israel for their sins.
The destruction of S & G and the visage of the people after the destruction.
And the visage of the three super natural Lords who came to Abraham and dealt judgement upon S & G.

See what you think:

Lamentations 4: 6 [judgement of Israel] For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people [Israel] is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, which was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. [IOW - no further judgement followed; once and done]

7 a.) Her [Sodom's] Nazarites [3] were purer than snow [sinless],
b.) they [the three Nazarites / super natural Lords] were whiter than milk,
c.) they were more ruddy in body than rubies [If you have any red heads in your family then you know what that might mean]
d.) their polishing was of sapphire.
[Now, what is there about our bodies that is sort of shiny like a crystal - eyes perhaps?: I looked up colors for sapphires and they were not all blue, but the most prevalent examples were blue.]

My conclusions are:
The three sinless super-natural Lords-the Nazarites, who visited Abraham and went into Sodom, were white.
May have been red heads with skin that blushes easily
Likely had blue shiny eyes.
Through out scripture there are examples of this appearance in the lineage from Adam to Christ. King David was one. Esau was another.

AND did you notice how there was only ONE PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION given for all three? They looked alike! Like triplets.

No wonder the Mob in Sodom knew to whose house they needed to go when they laid hands on The LORD God in the streets that night while he was accomplishing the plan to go down and judge!!! They knew because HE looked just like the two who were inside Lot's house. They had to be together that night! They wanted all three Nazarites!

Might this be close to the description of the appearance of God's ONE chosen image which is mentioned in Genesis 1; the ONE IMAGE officially named YHWH/The LORD, whenever he appeared to men of old in the form of a man?

I'm assuming all 23K + or - people, Robots, and non communicating guests agree with my post ... that Lamentations 4 compares the physical appearance of the three Lords, who visited Abraham with the bodies of those who were destroyed that day in Sodom and G.

1.) Lamentations 4:6 - 8 describes the physical appearance of the three Lords who visited Abraham and destroyed Sodom and G. They are called: Her Nazarites ... meaning Sodom's Nazarites.
Her Nazarites were purer than snow (sinless), ... whiter than milk, ... more ruddy in body than rubies, with sapphire polishing. (being white, possibly with reddish hair and blushing skin, with blue polishes, which I suggest to be blue shiny eyes).

2.) The same 3 verses describe the people of Sodom who were destroyed. My paraphrase: Their withered appearance is blacker than coal, unrecognizable, their skin cleaves to their bones; They have become like a dark lifeless stick.

3.) The same verses talk about the intensity of the punishment of God's chosen people due to their sins. Their punishment is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, which was overthrown as in a moment ... and no hands stayed on her.

(My thoughts: The suffering of the people of S and G was over quickly ... no divine hand of judgement continually stayed upon her as it will stay/continue upon HIS people. The fact that God's hand will not let up on his people is like a sign that he is the true God and that Israel's real God lives and keeps his word. His hand will be upon His people until our Christ returns to rescue them from Satan's devious plans.)

He will come and they will realize that he is the one they finally killed and will repent. I'm counting that God has shown me this so that I and others will know the Risen Lord from the fake Anti-Christ. I pray I am correct and that this will help me know the error of saying My Lord is here and there.
