WHAT IS THE MYSTERY?

So are you saying you have to be baptized in the name of Jesus to have remission of sins?
Getting baptized isn't the Gospel. And nobody Jesus died for need to do anything to have forgiveness of sins, Christ did it all, thats the Gospel.

So why did Jesus say this?
Mar 16:15-18 KJV And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (17) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Uh, You are not teachable.
I'm certainly not teachable by someone so totally lacking Bible knowledge such as yourself.
I will not explain to you my view on that.
Why? Is your view a secret?
However baptism isnt the Gospel.
Baptism was certainly a part of the gospel that Christ told them to preach in Mark 16.

You can deflect all that you like. We can all see the nonsense that you post.

BTW, who said that "baptism is the gospel"?.... (Hint: nobody)

But you said Peter and Paul preached the same gospel.....Peter preached baptism for remission of sins in Acts 2:38....how is it then that baptism would not be part of the gospel? Please explain

Nothing to explain. They both preached the same Gospel.

The last thing I will say is baptism was not part of Paul's gospel (1 Corinthians 1:17)....Paul preached the cross in his gospel, Peter did not understand it:
Mark 9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
Mark 9:32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.)

Not until AFTER His resurrection did they learn.
Joh 20:8-9 KJV Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. (9) For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
So, in other words, they were preaching the gospel of the kingdom for YEARS.... all without knowing about Christ's resurrection.

Baptism isn't a part of the Gospel period. There was a time Paul didnt understand the cross either. They preached the same Gospel. Its only one !

There are MANY gospels.

Please explain how the GOSPEL OF THE CIRCUMCISION can be identical to the GOSPEL OF THE UNCIRCUMCISION?

Why did Paul and Peter, James and John agree to separate their ministries along those line?

Yeah, Abrahams Spiritual seed Israel were gentiles also.

Its nothing to explain. Peter was a missionary to the jews, and Paul to the Gentiles. Same Gospel.

Sounds like to me you are hinting that God saves ethnic jews based up their ethnicity. If you believe that, its making God a respector of persons in salvation and denies that salvation is based upon Grace.

Another crazy "interpretation".

Then why was there a disagreement about doctrine?

Please do not LIE about what I say.

God chose the nation of Israel to be His people on the earth. They have failed in that role numerous times, but God restores them and will do that again AFTER the fullness of the gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:25-27 KJV For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: (27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

If you believe that, its making God a respector of persons in salvation and denies that salvation is based upon Grace.
God saves both Jews and Gentiles.
  • In the gospel of the kingdom: Jews first, then Greeks.
  • In the gospel of the grace of God: no Jew NOR Greek.
God CHOSE Israel to be HIS people on the earth.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Christ revealed the mystery to Paul, which is the body of Christ. The body of Christ was formed to reconcile the heavenly places (Colossians 1:20). This mystery was not made known to anyone before Paul, nor can it be found anywhere in the law and the prophets in scripture.

If those of the world had known this, they would not have crucified the Lord Jesus.

Peter and the disciples could not have known this mystery and therefore could not have preached the body of Christ, nor be members of it. They preached the gospel of the kingdom to Israel (the Davidic kingdom on earth...Matthew 4:23) and the name of Jesus (Acts 10:43).
Ephesians 3:3-6

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

So do think that God has abandoned Israel and the gospel of the circumcision?
How would you reach that conclusion from that verse?

Ephessians 2:11-22

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
