yes, it does. He used to claim on here that he was catholic, then protestant, then muslim, then catholic again and now reformed/calvinist and he hates women.

So, you think the verse only applies to men, and women are exempt?

The Bible wasn't meant to be read by women.

Deborah - The only female judge mentioned in the Bible, Deborah (being a prophetess) told Barak that the Lord God of Israel commanded him to lead an attack against the forces of Jabin king of Canaan and his military commander Sisera (Judges 4:6-7); the entire narrative is recounted in chapter 4. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deborah
Deborah's reign brought forty years of peace to Israel (Judges 5:31). Forty years is a long time. A whole generation had peace because of the godly behaviour of one woman. Now it’s your time. - http://www.wordlibrary.co.uk/article.php?id=157
Deborah was the fifth of the leaders or “Judges” of Israel raised up by God to deliver His people from the bondage their idolatry had caused, and instant both in word and deed she fulfilled her role as “Judge,” at a time when men tried to do right in the sight of their own eyes. As the position of woman in those days was of a distinctily subordinate character, Deborah’s prominence as a ruler is somewhat remarkable. All Israel was under her jurisdiction, and from the palm tree bearing her name, and elsewhere, called “the sanctuary of the palm,” she dispensed righteousness, justice and mercy. After the victory over the nation’s foes, she ruled with equity a land that had rest from war and captivity for forty years. https://www.biblegateway.com/resources/all-women-bible/Deborah-No-2

Good for Deborah :idunno:
Whom you are not
That's the thing about a lot of you- you think those sort of arguments are supposed to suffice for your otherwise inferiority with handing the scriptures or virtually anything of Christianity. Women haven't done anything of value with it except have people ignore the very real, clear teaching therein that they aren't supposed to be doing it.
It takes a special sort of deviousness to assume one's self in a position that categorically annuls their authority- there's scriptures which you couldn't actually state at the pulpit without condemning yourself for being at :rotfl:
What a bunch of idiots.
Rotfl...... That is perfect!
Those costumes and the names are absolutely hilarious!!!!
I stopped by for a spell here, and on this perfectly humorous and peacful note, I'll slip back into the shadows. This is Sonnets OP and he always seems to generate OPs and ideas that allow for much diverse discussion. I hope this thread and all of his endeavors are always blessed by the I AM.
Angel 4 Truth, Specifically about this OP and our back and forth dialog; Thank you for sharing your perspective and being respectful to mine. All respect and best wishes, as well as the understanding that you showed kindness to me though our view points come from slightly different perspectives.
Christ bless you and forever guide you Angel 4 Truth.
