WE WILL BE AS GOD

From the Roman Catholic Catechism:

460 The Word became flesh to make us "partakers of the divine nature":78 "For this is why the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of man: so that man, by entering into communion with the Word and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son of God."79 "For the Son of God became man so that we might become God."80 "The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods."81

DOES JESUS SAYS THAT WE WILL BE GODS :king:

OR IS IT JUST A LIE FROM SATAN.:DK:

What is your opinion??????
This is the next phase of secular living, now that the Medieval theological framework is collapsing all around us.

Once the idea of incarnation is taken seriously, the idea of a God sitting on a throne "out there" and staying basically domesticated and remote from humanity, the divinity of the human spirit can flourish.
Jesus said we are to be "the sons and daughters of God."

We are now the true "missing link" on the edge of a profound and fundamental change. This is truly the Kingdom of God on earth as Jesus taught us in the Lord's prayer: dignity and liberty and justice for all.

We can't just willy-nilly define what we are uncomfortable with in the New Testament as Satan's doing.

"I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven."

INcarnation has been known and accepted since the faith was once delivered. You meant REincarnation, didn't you? It's Eastern religious monism.

When people try to create the kingdom, which is what Communism is/was, it is fair for the STATE. It is not fair for the people, because the state defines all, grants all rights, etc. The idea of the Christian basis of the US was that something outside the state would do those two things; namely, the Creator.

The best thing that ever came along these lines was the US constitution. Because the Left and Islam dislike it, it is said to be broke down or late or whatever. Not.

My opinion is men have twisted this to make the claim that men are like God. The clue is found in the Psalm our Lord quoted. The word is gods with a small g because it's speaking of when the Lord raised up Judges in Israel. They were supposed to speak in God's stead...making wise decisions for the people. Of course, they failed just as God knew they would. But, the people wanted them, so God, in his anger, gave them what they wanted.

Psalm 82:1-4
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 82:5-8
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Ah, so you believe in "infused" righteousness. No wonder you're confused. :nono:

I haven't written anything about "infused" righteousness and don't believe in anything called "infused righteousness." You're just making stuff up once again trying to slander people.

What do you mean by "infused" righteousness and where is your evidence I allegedly believe in it?

Doing the rulz quick version test....I selected Jewish Orthodox and it says "Like God", not "as gods". I believe it is different, but not in a big way. Knowing good from evil was the point.

You have claimed that I believe in "infused" righteousness but cannot explain what "infused" righteousness is or prove that I supposedly believe in it. Any time you want to prove your accusations, I'll be waiting. You might also consider answering the OP instead of just picking fights. Those deeds of the flesh will get you (Gal 5:19-21).

Communism, liberalism, early primitive Marxism or socialism. The label is unimportant. Call it whatever.

But the Jews knew what they were doing and tried to design a culture blessed by God with real, historical "socialist" structural qualities built into it.

Their concern for the destitute, the stranger and the immigrant is attested to over and over and over again.

--The communities Paul spoke with believed in "holding all things in common," which is a modern communist idea.

--The Jewish faith mandated care for the "widow and the orphan" and this is found in not only the Psalms but in the great prophets of the Hebrew Bible.

--The Jew was expected to leave a portion of their harvest in the field for the poor and the outcast.

--Every so often on a definite schedule on their religious calendar they were to forgive ALL incurred debts for everyone.

--They also set aside a time when all property would immediately revert back to its original owners.

This great moral narrative of the Jews was picked up, carried on and extended by the missionary teachings of Jesus.

Those that fight and attack others are trying to cover up an abject fear.

A growling dog is afraid. And an angry human is as well.

It is written, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love."

You do suffer from an extreme case of malignant ignorance. That's
a given. Just admit to it and it'll go easier on you here.

Why not devote the rest of your life, figuring it out?
