In Boston we don't usually miss the worst storms, but it looks like we'll miss the worst part of this one, so that's nice. Scuttlebutt here is that this weekend we're going to have negative-degree temperatures. And for any Europeans reading, that means -18 degrees C and colder. During the day lol. That is COLD lol.

Well, I have mixed feelings. We in the south plead for a winter storm. They are so rare. We have to turn the air conditioning on for our November and December parties. Hardly ever get to light a fire in the fire place and get cozy.

I would hate to miss our luncheon but to have a winter storm would be special.
