It's a topic for a different thread but I have long argued here, often with the bananahead, that censorship of views you don't like is wrong, even if that includes views you viscerally hate. I remember asking back before Charlottesville, and maybe when barbie was still active, how do you include in the American democratic experiment the participation of people with views like the neo-nazis or the socialist/communists?

My answer was then and is now, you don't silence them. You let them speak and you publicize their positions and their views.

Exactly. If leftists are unable to easily dismantle and humiliate the positions they call loony, and would rather just censor them instead, then what does that say about their positions?
