Trump has never had to contend with a major crisis - if he bungles the government's response to the spread of "coronavirus" he couldn't be re-elected as dog-catcher!

Um, he declared a state of emergency and banned travel from China before a single case of Corona virus reached our shores. Obama didn't do such until over 1,000 cases of swine flu had hit our populace. But the media never decried his response, since he was their puppet. Trump is the enemy of evil, which is clear. DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!

Biden has made himself incredibly easy to paint as a senile old fool

Bernie's health problems alone (how much press is his heart attack getting?) should eliminate him from consideration

and in both cases, their age should be hammered every single time they're mentioned

Bernie - 83 before the end of his first term

Biden - 82 before the end of his first term

It is far more instructive that the party that has relentlessly railed against "Old White Men" has kicked all the female candidates to the curb in favor for two old white men to be their standard bearers going forward. Personally I couldn't care less but, the irony & hypocrisy of it does make me chuckle :chuckle:. Good point. I think we need to be careful not to buy into the reasoning that the president himself needs to know how to do this stuff. A good president surrounds himself with experts in various fields and they handle this stuff. The president needs to have the bigger picture view.

As President Donald Trump puts his impeachment trial behind him and begins his transition into election mode, a new poll found most voters believe he will win even if they don’t want him to have a second term.

The latest Monmouth University 2020 election poll, released Tuesday, indicates that about two-thirds of voters believe Trump will be reelected, with 27 percent saying the president will definitely win and 39 percent saying he probably will. Only 22 percent said he would probably lose to the Democratic nominee, while just 9 percent think Trump will definitely lose this fall. Given that China has a totalitarian regime, what's the Trump's Administration excuse for cutting $15 billion from the very federal agencies tasked with preventing the outbreak of infectious diseases and then after being given a lead time of 6 weeks, can only produce 75000 kits and 3 testing facilities to serve a nation of over 330 million?

To date the US federal government can claim to have tested a grand total of 5000 potential carriers for the entire nation - countries like China and South Korea are currently testing that many individuals in a day!

I doubt that there is another leader in the world confronting the coronavirus crisis that could find over 3 hours of spare time in his/her busy schedule to play round(s) of golf while the markets were preparing for their greatest 1 day decline in the DOW - over 2000 points!
