I don't know, but I am not going to make the assumption that he is trying to do a Day of Atonement sacrifice without everything the Bible states is needed. So he wasn't speaking about the more important things?

Doing right and not sinning is how Job was able to believe he would see God in the Resurrection. If you can do that to avoid damnation, Christ died for nothing.
That has been true since the time of Adam.Lake of Fire awaits you, lest you repent.
Grace has always been conditional. She doesn't want to admit that we are saved by grace through faith. It has to be about her. :nono:
The Bible says there is faith only, but without works faith will lead to death. So do you agree that there is no such thing faith only?
James 2:17 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. |
Romans 4:12,16 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, |

Paul spoke on faith.

You must walk in the steps of the faith shown by Abraham to receive God's grace.
Are you referring to this verse:Salvation is a gift from God.
God gives the gift to His children.
Ephesians 2:8 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift (δῶρον) of God: |
Hebrews 8:3 3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts (δῶρον) and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. |
You are mistaken in thinking this has to do with dispensations (economies). So obviously you KNOW we dont do that today, so you KNOW the differences between economies.
The scribes and Pharisees were condemned because they read the law to find out what they were not forbidden from doing.Um, Paul is right. We read it, and understand the differences.
He is calling the ideas of the PostMillennialists are tripe and thinks what you are saying comes from their teachings. You called God's words "post mill tripe".
Grace has always been conditional.
Grace: A gift given by a sovereign as a reward to one of his subjects when that subject has done something that pleases the sovereign.
Salvation is a gift God gives when He is pleased, and our faith from our free will, is how to please God.
He is calling the ideas of the PostMillennialists are tripe and thinks what you are saying comes from their teachings.
Are you referring to this verse:
Ephesians 2:8
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift (δῶρον) of God:
This verse uses a Greek word that is mainly used in the Bible for offerings to God.
Hebrews 8:3
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts (δῶρον) and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
Our salvation is a gift/offering that God is giving to Himself because He is pleased with us.
Paul objected to the spiritualizing of prophecy that was to have a physical fulfillment.Take this how you might, or might not.
Paul himself follows verse 15 in 2 Timothy 2 with an example of two individuals who failed to note what goes where in time, in Scripture, in their assertion or "saying that the resurrection is past already" verse 18.
Obviously, Paul did not have Christ's Own "past already" Resurrection in mind, but rather that yet future Romans 8; 1 Thessalonians 4, and so on, resurrection of Believers.
And obviously, Paul did not have our "past already" Romans 6 resurrection in mind.
The mistake in translation from the Greek to English happened hundreds of years ago and fools have been deceived by it ever since.Greek the "rightly dividing" phrase all you want - all you are proving is your inability to arrive at the actually intended sense or meaning of the phrase in accordance with Basic Reading 101 Rules of Grammar - through how any word and or phrase is used, where it is found being used, by whom, as to what, in light of who, about what, compared to what, when, where, why, and how, and so on.
In this, dictionaries are ever the amatuer reader's fool's gold.

Dispensationalists always get the timing of the resurrection in Revelations wrong, but they usually think it happens at Revelation 4:1, which is after Revelation 3:3.Everything you quoted in Revelations is after we are gone....you do realize this right?
Dispensationalists always get the tribulation wrong.I see, so christians (the Body of Christ)will go thru the tribulation?
No. The Bible does not say faith only. The only time the Bible says faith alone is to warn us of what kind of faith not to have.
See James 2:14, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, and 29.
We must live through the Holy Spirit; and, the only way one can do that, is by obeying Jesus' teachings.

(The resurrection happens in Revelation 14:16).
thank you sister
How about this:
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.
