Trad, do you dislike black people?

Interracial couples means more black people later on down the line. :nono:

Personally, I'd rather die childless.

Yeah, I can understand why some people just can't put their finger on whether or not you have race issues. :plain:

So Town once again claims to know what someone else can't quite figure out, and is now trying to claim that "some people" can't "put their finger on whether or not" Trad has "race issues". There isn't a one here who hasn't seen that Trad has some issues concerning race. We just don't agree with your critique of Trad's views, as if he has no justification for his feelings about blacks marrying whites. There are actually some legitimate reasons for not being attracted to someone of a different race, and even some reasons to be against interracial marriages. But, God forbid anyone should voice that in Liberal La La Land.

I genuinely don't understand: are people really surprised by this? I simply assumed it was common knowledge. I basically said as much in the "Mexicans are dumb" thread.

Angel couldn't decide. Then she went the other way. Made no sense to me. Glory essentially tried to use it as a giant spoon, but it beats me like a marching band drum how anyone could miss your position.

In the same way, I don't agree, and I'm sure Angel won't agree, with your critique concerning the way we "went" and what we did with the knowledge we had. You're such a pompous man, that you can't even read the simplest posts without injecting your own ideas into what we've said. Your snobbery is worse than Trad's "race issues", if you want the truth.

From what I understand, this is rather common, and many white women, in fact, feel pressured into dating black men simply because they fear being labeled racists.

Oh, the pressure makes them do it. :chuckle:

As I've said before:

This is where you repeat something that you shouldn't have said even once before.

Integration has proved an unmitigated disaster for white people. Ultimately, it spells "death" for our race and for our culture.

We're Americans. Mutts. Hello?

I'm Caucasian, but it's almost certain some of my ancestors were very dark skinned people. Same for 1PeaceMaker.

Segregation was far, far better for us.

The American spirit is integration with respect to cultural heritage.

Even better, perhaps, would it have been for not even a single person of color ever to have set foot upon American soil.

The Native Americans might agree with you. If only the white folk didn't show up.

Trad is a racist.

Don't be obtuse. He posted a vomit smiley.

I dated women of color. Hopefully Trad can keep his dinner down.

If you can't discern that Trad is a racist, then you're stupid.

A racist in your book. Then again, in your book, there is nothing wrong with polygamy, and you can commit adultery by wanting a woman's money instead of her body.

It's a darn good thing what you say doesn't matter one whit.

But, alas, you can't help but show me what a pompous man you are under that mask.
I understand you need to believe that to continue to be the misunderstood hero of your narrative.

Such delusions of grandeur.
Two things, I suppose. First, you missed the inference. Second, I think it's interesting that you believe if I actually thought I was doing or being or in some measure above you that would be a delusion of grandeur. A consideration of the natural inference is equally ironic and a bit funny.

I'm so far beneath your high holiness that you nearly forgot I was here.
The inference was that the squabbling was so less important than that lesson plan that considering it made me forget the noise and nonsense.

No, he calls himself a racist.

The sole reason I'd vote for Trump (and I might) is because I'm a "racist."

Wait, you'll still argue.

Then again, in your book, there is nothing wrong with polygamy,

That book is called the Bible.

... and you can commit adultery by wanting a woman's money instead of her body.

If I wanted to take her from her husband for her money, yes that's adultery of the heart, too, even if I'm not sexually attracted to her.

It's a darn good thing what you say doesn't matter one whit.

Apparently what Trad says about himself and about people of color doesn't matter one whit to you. Ah, but you think things were better under segregation so ...

No, he calls himself a racist.

NOUN

1.prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior:
"a program to combat racism"

•the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

To be clear: I have no belief that blacks are naturally inferior to whites, nor do I wish harm, collectively speaking, on the black race. We are bound to wish them, and all men, the best, insofar as all men are made in the image and likeness of God. I think that, for any given black person you come across, all other things being equal, you should treat him or her with the utmost respect and consideration.

I just personally don't want to have to deal with them, or else, be inconvenienced even by the mere sight of them. :)

Yes, and I'm a mean heartless woman....according to some on this board. I've noticed a few things about Trad. He's smart as a whip...really smart, not just pompous smart, and enjoys watching people striving to figure out his nuanced and satirical statements. So, if you all want to boo and hiss at his horrible "racist" beliefs, have fun. All I can say is each one of you, who attack him so vehemently, look down on more people than Trad does....and for some very ridiculous reasons. Your pride is a hundred times worse than anything I've seen from him.

Yadda yadda yadda and blah blah blah.

Really, Town, if you would just get over yourself, you might be freed up to talk like a real person instead of some robot.

Hopefully, one day. Until then, I will diligently practice. :p

Anyways. The joke aside, what you probably intended was this:

The result of a black and a white are neither a black nor white child, but some tertium quid (third kind of thing).

I simply go by the one drop rule. "If you're even 1/16th [n-word], you're a [n-word]. Don't care if you look white. You aren't."

Ya think?

Yes, I know you go by the one drop rule; hence, I call you a racist moron. :duh:

Uh oh. You might find yourself in a pickle if you ever get your genes tested or go back through your family history. I looked through my family history and saw someone who owned a couple of slaves. I was shocked. Then, too, sometimes those who are listed as parents may not be.

My grandmother is big into genealogy. My ancestors were slave owners, but my bloodline is thoroughly traceable. I dare say that I have anything but a colorful ancestry. Indian? Possibly. But that's ancient history, even if true. ;)

Yeah, "thoroughly traceable"...I've heard that one before. They had woodpiles back in the day...lest you forget. :rapture:
