Im sick of false accusations of racism and people trying to goad me into false guilt about things ive never done, i am sick of THEM.
I wasn't unclear on the point. I'm equally sure I haven't said anything accusatory on the point aimed at you.
I noted a deficiency in Trad. One he appears to find satisfactory as a state and doesn't seem interested in altering.
You responded that I am just as deficient. Now that might seem like a shot to some people, but I took it as "We all require grace/none being perfect" and agreed with that much of it.
The problem is when we feel justified in our sin and hold onto it. Some even make it a point of pride, white or other.
When you said maybe, I noted there really isn't a maybe unless you aren't reading much of what he's written on the point. He's not a violent racist, but he is without question a racist.
Then you wrote:
...im not but have been falsely accused it often, just by the nature of me being white, and im sick of it.
Welcome to the party. Southerners get that from our northern cousins all the time. I had a friend who was beaten on a basketball court up north because he had an accent and one guy said, "Where are you from?" And because my friend, who hasn't a bigoted bone in his body gave an honest answer he ended up with stitches. It happens. It isn't fair. All you can do is answer honestly and be ready for what comes.
Now when you said:
Being sick of it, doesnt make me a racist.
It seemed like the perfect opportunity to contrast the wrongly accused with the actual thing I was speaking to. That's why I wrote: "Being sick of them does."
