Eat a whole jalapeno at the first sign of stuffy nose, it will clear you right up and open your sinuses completely.
If already too far into cold:
Honey and lemon with a tablespoon of whiskey at bedtime for throat and eases breathing for chest congestion, take lots of liquids and eat chicken soup.
Gargle with salty water 4 times a day too for throat and sinus.
Some people do well with a humidifier, but i am the opposite, i have a dehumidifier and my colds last no time now when i get them (about 2 times a year) it clears me right up
