Honestly, our second amendment guarantees the right to bear arms, providing that you didn't lose your rights. What i would ban are already banned; flamethrowers and explosives.

In parts of Mississippi that's considered high tech. :plain: In Alabama it's a party favor.

I'm adding lawn darts to the list of bannables.

LOL lawn darts are awesome. Sound way more dangerous than any shooting event I've shot. I'm picturing family and friends having a barbeque in the back yard, kids running around, adults drinking beer. Mix in some weighted fletched sharpened spikes being thrown 15 feet in the air across the yard. Hope someone has a camera phone going...

Would you mind mentioning the plural bit to the folks in Chicago. They reluctantly gave in to the fact that they are, in fact, still part of the United States, and as such, must allow their citizens to bear arms. They did, however, place a limitation of ONE firearm.

Maybe their copy of the Constitution was smudged. :idunno:

I'd have to draw the line at flame throwers. They're just too darn indiscriminate. :plain:
You are such a liberal! Don't tell me how I can or cannot defend my home!

Its not like we are stupid, we keep all the bathtubs full . . . for safety, in case there's an accident.

Guns are good for one thing only...KILLING. :Grizzly:

"Thou shall not kill."
I hardly know where to start with you, but I will start with this. A better translation would be " thou shall not murder.
Oh and just so you know, I have four pistols, a rifle and a 12 ga SxS shotgun, and I have never killed anyone. Let alone murder anyone.

I carry two handguns everywhere I can legally carry them, and I try and stay away from those places anyway (post offices and schools). Sometimes I even open carry on my hip. I will defend myself and my family if needed.

Explosives and flamethrowers are arms. Not only do you have the right to keep them, you have the right to bear them. CCW permits are unconstitutional, because they take away the right to bear arms.

I wouldn't keep such arms for defensive purposes. I would hate to have the neighbors house burn down because a bad guy was torched.

Arizona no longer has CCW's. We've always been an open carry state, now we are also a freely-concealed carry state. I wear my .40 openly.

everyone hunts here, most all men do and many women. I have no problem with it as a way of life. I do have some disagreement over assault rifles and stockpiling weapons. i think we use rifles and shotguns for hunting and it makes sense to have a handgun for home protection. anyway, that is how i see it. those women on lifetime always screaming and bleeding because a viscous attacker is chasing her with a knife, well that is not my story.

Good for you. I advise women to learn how to shoot and to carry a firearm. My wife certainly does. Don't become a victim.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
John Adams

If the Founding Fathers could see what has happened to the Christian based Constitutional Republic that they gave us, which has turned into a godless socialist state, they'd encourage the citizens to take up arms and revolt; flamethrowers included.
