Your hope will be thwarted. They will all too vanish without a trace.I will be hopeful even on my death-bed. Not for my own future, of which there will be none, but for the future of my family and friends and those I have influenced or loved.
Nothing that will last beyond a moment and a breath.There is joy here to be had for its own sake.
