I think most players get checked out by their own doctors now, or a doctor for the players union, especially for major injuries. I dont think team doctors pushing players out on the field happens anymore. I think today it'd be more a case of the player wanting to get back out there, because they are competitive, and they may lose their job.

It's far more likely that players will hide their injuries so they can play than it is a coach forcing them to play despite their injuries.

But leave it to a lib to blame the 'man'.
