Jesus. With all the talk on this forum, and the world around, sometimes it's just nice to sit back and thank Him for what's done, is doing, and will do.
Today we went kayaking. I turned around and laid on the back of the kayak (it's a sit on top, so it's pretty flat) while the husband paddled. I was inches from the water, warm sunshine, the breeze was rustling the leaves, birds were chirping, the fall colored trees reflecting in the water. It was awesome.
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
Today I'm grateful for my best friend from high school, with whom I got to celebrate his 30th year in the ministry at his church. What a beautiful family he has. His son was home from China, and brought his father-in-law, who cannot speak a word of English. It was really a nice tribute and we had a great time.
