Nope, we replace the law with grace which is antichrist to you. The unmerited favor of God which is given apart from the law. Sucks to be under constant condemnation like you.

"Nope, we replace the law".

So you admit you're throwing the law of God overboard.

And then you think God is going to be gracious to you? No way.

God is gracious, but not to lawless people who throw His laws overboard.

Sinners get punished:

Deuteronomy 28:15-69: “But it will be that if you do not hearken to the voice of the Lord your G.d, to observe, to perform all His commandments and all his decrees that I command you today, then all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: Accursed will you be in the city, and accursed will you be in the field. Accursed will be your fruit basket and your kneading bowl. Accursed will be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, the offspring of your cattle and the flocks of your sheep and goats. Accursed will you be when you go in and accursed will you be when you go out. The Lord will send in your midst attrition, confusion, and worry, in your every undertaking that you will do, until you are destroyed and until you are quickly annihilated, because of the evil of your deeds, for having forsaken Me. The Lord will attach the plague to you, until it consumes you from upon the ground to which you are coming, to possess it. The Lord will strike you with swelling lesions, with fever, with burning heat, with thirst and with sword; and with wind blasts and with withering, and they will pursue you until destruction. Your heavens over your head will be copper and the land beneath you will be iron. The Lord will make the rain of your land dust and dirt; from heaven it will descend upon you until you are destroyed. The Lord will cause you to be struck down before your enemies; on one road you will go out against him, but on seven roads you will flee before him; and you will be a cause of terror to all the kingdoms of the earth. Your carcass will be food for every bird of the sky and for every beast of the field and nothing will frighten them. The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with hemorrhoids, with wet and dry boils, of which you can not be cured. The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness, and with confounding of the heart. You will grope at noontime as a blind man gropes in the darkness, but you will not succeed on your way; you will be only cheated and robbed all the days, and there will be no savior. You will betroth a woman, but another man will lay with her; you will built a house, but you will not dwell in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not redeem it. Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat from it; your donkey will be robbed from before you, but it will not return to you; your flocks will be given to your enemies, and you will have no savior. Your sons and daughters will be given to another people, and your eyes will see and pine in vain for them all day long, but your hand will be powerless. A nation unknown to you will devour the fruit of your ground and all your labor, and you will be cheated and downtrodden all the days. You will go mad from the sight of your eye that you will see. The Lord will strike you with a foul boil, on the knees and the legs, that cannot be cured, from the sole of your foot to your crown. The Lord will lead you and your king whom you will set up over yourself to a nation that you never knew, neither you nor your forefathers, and there you will work for the gods of others, of wood and stone. You will be a source of astonishment, a parable, and a conversation piece, among all the peoples where the Lord will lead you. You will take abundant seed out to the field, but you will harvest little, for the locusts will devour it. You will plant vineyards and work them, but you will not drink and gather in, for the worm will eat it. You will have olive trees throughout your boundaries, but you will not anoint with oil, for your olives will drop. You will bear sons and daughters, but they will not be yours, for they will go into captivity. All your trees and the fruits of your ground, the chirping locust will impoverish. The stranger who is among you will rise higher and higher, while you will descent lower and lower. He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be a head, but you will be a tail.

All these curses will come upon you and pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you will not have listened to the voice of the Lord your G.d, to observe all His commandments and decrees that He commanded you.

They will be a sign and a wonder in you and your offspring forever, because you did not serve the Lord your G.d amid gladness and goodness of heart, when everything was abundant. So you will serve your enemies that the Lord will send against you in hunger and in thirst, in nakedness and without anything, and He will put an iron yoke on your neck, until He destroys you. The Lord will carry against you a nation from afar, from the end of the earth, as an eagle will swoop, a nation whose language you will not understand, a brazen nation that will not be respectful to the old nor gracious to the young. It will devour the fruit of your animals, and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed; it will not leave you grain, wine, or oil, offspring of your cattle or flocks of your sheep and goats, until it causes you to perish. It will besiege you in all your cities, until the collapse of your high and fortified walls in which you trusted throughout your land; it will besiege you in all your cities, in all your land which the Lord your G.d has given you. You will eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters, which the Lord your G.d had given you; in the in the siege and distress that your enemies will distress you. The man among you who is tender and very delicate will turn selfish against his brother and the wife of his bosom, and against the remaining children that he has let survive, not to give even one of them of the flesh of his children that he will eat, not leaving anything for him, in the siege and distress that your enemy will distress you in all your cities. The tender and delicate woman among you, who had never tried to set the sole of her foot on the ground, because of delicacy and tenderness, will turn selfish against the husband of her bosom, and against her son and daughter, against the after birth that emerges from between her legs, and against the children that she will bear; for she will eat them in secret for lack of anything, in the siege and distress that your enemies will distress you in your cities.

If you will not be careful to perform the words of this Torah that are written in this Book, to fear this honored and awesome Name; Y-H-W-H your G.d, then The Lord will make extra ordinary your blows and the blows of your offspring; great and faithful blows, and evil and faithful illnesses. He will bring back upon you all the sufferings of Egypt, of which you were terrified, and they will cleave to you. Even any illness and every blow that is not written in this Book of Torah, the Lord will bring upon you, until you are destroyed. You will be left few in number, instead having been like the stars of heaven in abundance, for you will not have hearkened to the voice of the Lord your G.d. And it will be that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to benefit you and multiply you, so the Lord will cause them to rejoice over you to make you perish and destroy you; and you will be torn from the ground to which you come to posses it. The Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from the end of the earth to the end of the earth, and there you will work for the gods of others whom you did not know, you or your forefathers, of wood and stone. And among those nations you will not be tranquil, there will be no rest fore the sole of your foot; there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, longing of eyes, and suffering of soul. Your life will hang in the balance, and you will be frightened night and day, and you will not be sure of your livelihood. In the morning you will say: “Who can give back last night!” And in the evening you will say: “Who can give back this morning!” – because of the fright of your heart that you will fear and the sight of your eyes that you will see. The Lord will return you to Egypt in ships, on the road of which I said to you: “You shall never again see it!” And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as slaves and maidservants; but there will be no buyer. These are the words of the covenant that the Lord commanded Moses to seal with the Children of Israel in the land of Moab,”

This is what God will do with the apple of His eye; Israel, if they don't observe the law.

What do you think He will do to idolatrous pagans who refuse to obey His commandments??

Where do you sacrifice your offerings?

Bs"d

On the altar in the Temple courtyard, as soon as the Temple is rebuild.

We see that the prophets say that in the messianic days the Temple will be rebuild, and animal sacrifices will be reinstated again, look in Zechariah 14:20, Malachi 3:1-4 and Ezekiel 43.

True circumcision is by the word of God and not naturally by the flesh, and through God by the circumcision of the heart I live it out, circumcision is of the heart not the flesh. And that's not only the new testament but in the old also.

Bs"d

Whether you call it "true circumcision", or "untrue circumcision", circumcision of the flesh is commanded by God: "Then Y-H-W-H spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying:
‘When a woman gives birth and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean for seven days, as in the days of her menstruation she shall be unclean. 3 On the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised."
Lev 12

You see? God commands circumcision of the flesh. And you don't do that. So your statement: "I believe that we obey God, and obey his laws, but we don't live by man's add ons and traditions, which includes those like the scribes and pharasees that Jesus spoke about and that also includes those in various Christian churches who have added onto the gospel of Jesus!" is a fat lie.

You don't obey God and you don't obey His laws.

Deu 30

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Our hearts must be free from flesh for us to live in God. The cutting off the natural flesh is just a picture, without circumcision of the heart we are dead in our sins.

We need both. But the circumcision of the heart is something that God will do.

Romans 2

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

You can look the part on the outside, and follow the all laws outwardly, but if you're not clean within then the whole of you is dirty.

If you had a pretty cup that looked lovely in the outside but was filthy within, would you use it? I wouldn't, and God can't live in a world filled selfish heart. We must be put to death by the spirit.

That's the difference, you can do it all outwardly and still be wrong in God. Jesus came and showed us that he is the way the truth and the life, and through him we receive the spirit of God who cleans us inwardly.

It's not following the laws outwardly, but from within, and this starts by loving God with all our hearts, soul, mind and strength, and loving our neighbour ourselves and following Jesus. And Christ, by the spirit will help us to overcome the world.

You use a lot of words but it comes down to this: You throw God's laws overboard, and you replace them with paganism.

What does that make you? Right: A lawless pagan.

Nothing more.

"But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.

Every one that can be done we do. No lawlessness for the Jews.

Not so. There are many "atheist" Jews and "non-religious" Jews as well as "reformed" Jews.

How was Abraham "justified" before God?
How was Enoch "justified" before God?
How about Noah?
I could go on...

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without the law [Mosaic Law]:
and as many as have sinned being under the law [Mosaic Law] shall be judged by the law - Romans 2:12
The Law was given to Jews, not Gentiles.
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. - Ezekiel 18:20a
The "problem" is sin. Unless you are "sinless" you will be judged and die for your sin...
unless you sin is atoned for:
it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul (sin) - Lev. 17:11

Obviously you are unaware of the major uptick in the number of Messianic Congregations [1st century Sect of the Nazarenes], especially in Israel. As well, you seem to be unaware of the Hebraic Roots movement that is taking place. Jews4Judaism must be shaking in their boots over this move of God.
Time to "take off the blinders"? The world getting prepared for the return of Yeshua Messiah.

Thinking and reflecting on obeying God's commands.

People DID obey the law blamelessly.

As for the old law, NO ONE can obey Moses anymore, unless they believe in Jesus as the Lamb of God.

Gods Truth,

I understand what you are saying. However, Jesus/Yeshewa Ben Yoseph makes it clear that obeying the law blamelessly is impossible. It was bound to the Heart as well as the flesh. Deuteronomy makes this enormously clear, and when paired with Jesus's words on the sermon on the mount, it is made enormously clear that none but Elohim can be blameless inside and out.

If this were not so, then the need for Jesus as our Messiah would be unnecessary.

Of mint and so forth was a reference to this. Though there were Jewish teachers of the Law that outwardly followed every precept of the Law, there motivations and treatment of others broke the law. More specifically, they were in curse of the law because their very hearts were disobedient to the law.

To claim it is possible to live life without transgressing the law is to claim deity.

1st John 1:8
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

1 Kings 8:46 or simply Kings in Tanakh
If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

More specifically it is stated that one transgression of the law of Moses is a transgression of the entire thing.

That's all precepts of the law listed in "The book of the law"

Deuteronomy 27:26

26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Deuteronomy 11:18

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

The Law is a pact that is bound to Heart, Soul and Flesh.

Only one can be blameless by the law.

One point missed on any level brings the need for forgiveness on a magnitude of all of it being transgressed.

And so there are many people who call themselves Christians, who are really just idolatrous pagans.

Come to think of it, that applies to about all Christians.

"But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.
The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil."

Ecc 12:12-14, New American Standard Bible

Elia,

I read this and appreciate what you have written. The issue I'm personally having is that by Deuteronomy 11 it says that the law is binding to my very heart, soul and flesh. According to the scripture you posted, I am cursed if I stumble at one point. So either I lie and say that I do not stumble, or I speak honestly and am honest with God.

In the end my words and actions mean nothing, for God knows me better than I know myself.

In this, I am only left with pleading for His mercy, that I might not become a self righteous sacrifice.

Christians don't keep God's laws, and I can prove it to you easily. Do you do the circumcision commandment? Don't you eat pork?

The Temple is destroyed, and because animal sacrifices can only be done on the Temple altar, we at this moment have no animal sacrifices.

But the rest of the law, which can be fulfilled, we fulfil. As the only ones.

Nobody else lives by God's laws.

"Serve Y-H-W-H! And if it seems evil to you to serve Y-H-W-H, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.
But as for me and my house, we will serve Y-H-W-H!”

Joshua 24:14-15

Elia,

By the law, are you without blame?

I myself stumble daily at different points.

The serpent in the garden challenged Eve and Adam to be like God.

Are there any that are uncursed by the law by the retribution of the law by their perfection?

I hear in what you say the teachings of false teachers. You would have to let go of all that and search for God's Truth.

What you say shows you do not have understanding about why Jesus died.

Here are scriptures to show that people can obey the law blamelessly.

Luke 1:6 Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord's commands and decrees blamelessly.

Genesis 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.

I have now shown you scripture that shows anyone can obey blamelessly. Will you believe the truth now, or will you continue to repeat something some false teacher taught you?

On the altar in the Temple courtyard, as soon as the Temple is rebuild.

We see that the prophets say that in the messianic days the Temple will be rebuild, and animal sacrifices will be reinstated again, look in Zechariah 14:20, Malachi 3:1-4 and Ezekiel 43.

"But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.

You are not doing it now though. You personally cannot say to anyone that you obey Moses when you do not have a temple. No one can say it since the temple was destroyed in 70 A.D.

Are you saved by the works of God, or the works of your flesh?

I mean, are you saved by grace, or the culmination of God assisted adherence to the Laws dispensation of Sinai?

You're the sinner who will be punished for rejecting Christ seeing he was sent to you first and you said - away with such a fellow from the earth!

Sent to Elia first?

The truth was sent to the Jews first, but now all Jews are no different than any Gentile.

I love argument, but on a human level. Is there one person you don't seek to correct here? Is there one person here that you believe isn't a false teacher? I haven't condemned you once and you suggest I quote falsely. Brother, if I am false and the scripture or words I used are false, then please correct me. But please do so with scripture and refute my words with scripture and clear words that do not bind up heavy burdens.

For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as Righteousness.

Abraham Justified by Faith

1What then can we say that Abraham, our physical ancestor, has found? 2If Abraham was •justifiedc by works, he has something to brag about — but not before God.e 3For what does the Scripture say?

Abraham believed God,
and it was credited to him for righteousness.f, g

4Now to the one who works,h pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed. 5But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous,i, j his faith is credited for righteousness.

David Celebrating the Same Truth

6Likewise, David also speaks of the blessing of the man God credits righteousness to apart from works:

7How joyful are those whose lawless acts are forgiven
and whose sins are covered!
8How joyful is the man
the Lord will never charge with sin!k, l
