These are NOT the same gospel

There are people here who believe God really isn't very bright.

Want to know how you can spot them?

They believe He wasn't smart enough to consider the probability of those He forgave, quickened, and justified going through hard times with the world, the devil, and their own sin-infected flesh.

They believe He didn't foresee many of them being ignorant of His all-sufficient grace, and so fall into doubting Him (which is to lose faith) or being angry with Him (also losing faith).

They believe He didn't make allowance for this, so He is powerless to preserve those whom He saved but later doubt or become despondent or resentful.

They believe He can only watch helplessly as those He saved become lost again, leaving Him no choice but to burn them.

In believing all this, they imply that they are...

smarter

than

God.

Fortunately, they aren't. They are proud, ignorant fools.

God's saving grace cannot be outsinned by any whom He has forgiven all sins
AND justified by the resurrection of Christ
AND sealed unto Himself by His own Spirit.

It isn't even the believer sinning anymore--Paul says it's the old man, the flesh doing it.

That includes bouts of faithlessness.

Now watch: if they respond at all, they'll backtrack and make up parameters on how much faithlessness or what kind of faithlessness it takes for a saved person to be lost.

One more thing.

People like "Tambora" usually insist that they know, or know of, people who were saved but chucked it and walked away forever.

Never take seriously a word of their story if they can't prove to you what gospel their saved/lost person initially believed, which they can't. Plus, they lie. 🤷

It did happen right away, but Paul was baptized for the same reason Jesus was...to fulfill all righteousness.
That is not what is written.
Paul was a Jew, and first obeyed the Gospel of the Kingdom.
As the gospel of the kingdom was..."the kingdom of God is near you", I'm anxious to see what "commandments" Paul obeyed?
Be sure to give the scripture saying Jews must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
Something from Leviticus would be nice, as I am reading that these past days.
In fact, he began preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom...preaching Christ as the Messiah and the Son of God.
Acts 9:20-22
And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
As we don't know if any believed what Paul preached from your thoughtfully provided scripture, it is unreasonable to say he didn't also "preach" baptism in "that name which they called on".

Not what I said or what scripture says.
Scripture says they can be grafted back in IF they choose to have believing faith again.

It's not a dilemma for me, but it might be so for the Jews. They will have to endure to the end to have their sins blotted out.
If the Jews, like the Gentiles, will turn from sin and get water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their past sins, their past sins will be blotted out as well as ours.
Peter said..."The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" (1 Peter 3:21)
That sounds like the sufficiency of the cross !
And enduring till the end is a no-brainer for those reborn of God's seed.

Actually, it was NOT just because they crucified their King when He came. It was because of their continued unbelief.

This prophecy explains it:

God gave them a little more time... but that was it.

That happened about the time that Stephen was stoned and God raised up Paul.
Ah, very true. It was their continued unbelief that caused God to turn to the gentiles, wasn't it?

If they tell lies, it is obvious they are not going to be saved.
Satan is the father of lies and of those who use them. (John 8:44)

Yes, they both knew that NOW because Paul told the 12 that's the way it was NOW. But it is not how things had been BEFORE for obedient Jews. We know this from Acts 13:39 and Romans 10:4-5. That's why Peter caved backwards into legal observance, and why Paul rebuked him.
Thank you, brother. That's what I tried to tell her....that they'd already heard Paul's gospel, but she refused to hear.

Clearly, you know NOTHING of the Gospel of Grace.

You're a product of this world thinking water will save you.

Very sad because the time is short.
