According to the Bible, the lake of fire is the second DEATH, not eternal conscious torment.

You are changing God's word to suit your personal agenda. YOU are not God and have no right to change His word. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." DEATH is not "Eternal life in HELL being separated from God." If Paul had meant to say "The wages of sin is eternal separation from God", he could have written that. But he didn't. Don't change God's word to fit the doctrine that you prefer.

Why then did Adam and Eve NOT know they were naked until Adam disobeyed God then HE and EVE knew they were naked. Why ? BECAUSE WHEN THEY DISOBEYED GOD THEY BECAME spiritually DEAD and until God sacrificed animals to cover them they were DEAD SPIRITUALLY.

Man has a body , soul , and a spirit. Those in Jesus have the Holy Spirit while those NOT in Jesus have the spirit of their father Satan.
Jesus said you must be born again or you in no way will enter the kingdom of heaven. No Holy Spirit through being born again NO heaven.
Those not born again will NEVER understand scripture or trust God's word. They will change His word to what they want it to say NOT what it actually says.

And nowhere does it actually say that anyone will be given eternal life so that they can be tortured forever. Nevertheless, the ECT advocate for some blood thirsty reason wants it to say that, and so tries to interpret/twist scripture to that end.
