Unlike Obama, Trump didn't inherit an economy that was in the midst of a "meltdown!"
Any President can enjoy good economic numbers in the short term if they're irresponsible enough to pass a $1+ trillion economic "tax cut" for America's wealthiest class, financed with borrowed money, during prosperous times!
Once the Republicans are voted out of office in 2020, the conservatives will suddenly rediscover the national debt and start pointing fingers at the Democrats!

Obama handed Trump a terrible economy. Thee few jobs Obama create were part time and not bringing n any taxes or supporting any families. The growth rate was horrible. axes and regulations were choking the economy.

Trump has lowered the corporate tax rate and created real jobs and manufacturing jobs. Trump has brought back a growth rate that Obama said was impossible, and which Obama sarcastically said that Trump would have to "waive a magic wand" to achieve. Well, Trump is the magic wand and he achieved it. Trump has the best jobs numbers since the 60's

"TrumpTrainCA" would never allow the facts to intrude into his "narrative," but in the "real world," the US Department of Labor's own statistics show that the American economy started to recover in 2010 and that it continued throughout the Obama Administration's time in office!
The DOW rebounded by almost 13000 points while Obama was in office, and that was without the added benefit of a $1+ trillion tax cut!
