People don't get angry when silly, laughable claims are made that can be ignored and easily dismissed. People get angry when uncomfortable truths are spoken.

Jesus was hated by religious people with a white hot hatred when in reality he just said very simple true things. It wasn't until the final days of his life that Jesus finally brought the hammer down on the authorities of Judaism.

In contemporary terms, the Gospel of the Kingdom liberated people to become free agents as children of the living God, bypassing the corporate strangle hold of institutional religion. BUT, it didn't take long for religious men to reinstitutionalize and overcomplicate the Original simple Gospel of The Kingdom of Heaven.

This verse speaks of the day of the Lord (Isaiah 13:9):

The Lord will reign on earth from Jerusalem:

Psalm 97:1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

The believing remnant of Israel will reign on earth with Christ:

Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

The church, the body of Christ will not reign on earth, but eternally in heaven:

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

It was the nation of BELIEVING Israel.

Unbelieving Israel was cut off, not the Believers.

Paul was not writing to just the body of Christ.....the church members included kingdom saints, the believing remnant of Israel who believed the gospel of the kingdom preached by Jesus and the twelve and will enter the kingdom on earth.
