THE LORD WILL REIGN ON EARTH WITH ISRAEL

Isaiah 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

This verse speaks of the day of the Lord (Isaiah 13:9):

Isaiah 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

The Lord will reign on earth from Jerusalem:

Psalm 97:1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

The believing remnant of Israel will reign on earth with Christ:

Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

The church, the body of Christ will not reign on earth, but eternally in heaven:

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

The Kingdom Jesus established is spiritual and set up 2000 years ago. He rules from heaven now and forever more. Israel was finally unchosen.

The Kingdom Jesus established

You seem to have missed the part where Jesus warned against people coming in His name and proclaiming that He has returned falsely.

He also made it clear that his return would be undeniable.

So far, there is plenty of denying that Christ has returned, and it hasn't been made clear that he has.

Suffice it to say that it's safe to say that He has NOT returned, and therefore His Kingdom has not been set up yet.

Also, 2000 years is greater than 1000 years, which is how long Jesus said he would reign with Israel.

is spiritual

In that you mean that we can't see it?

Sorry, but Christ said it would be clear that He had returned.

What we see today is far from the kind of kingdom we would have if Christ were reigning on His throne.

and set up 2000 years ago.

Supra.

He rules from heaven now and forever more.

Except that He's not currently ruling.

Else we wouldn't see the things we're seeing today.

Israel was finally unchosen.

Israel was never "unchosen," just set aside temporarily.

God promised to graft back in unbelieving Israel as soon as they repent.

Are you sure that you guys have read the Bible????

The Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven was preached for 3+ years by Jesus and his Apostles.

20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

But it’s true, the original gospel was largely lost and replaced by the institutional church. There was some sense that Jesus would “soon return” while the apostles were still alive.

Eventually the original gospel will be preached again and the dormant kingdom will come alive among believers.

Jesus will return but just for a visit, our world isn’t his home.

Instead of cherry-picking and applying your BIAS to the selected scripture... believe the truth.

When conversing with unbelieving Jews... Jesus said this:
Mat 21:43 KJV Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

So these unbelieving Jews HAD the kingdom of God and it was to be taken FROM THEM.

Who is the "nation bringing forth the fruits thereof"? It is BELEIVING ISRAEL!
Luk 12:31-32 KJV But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. (32) Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Yup.

The Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven was preached for 3+ years by Jesus and his Apostles.

Yes it was.

20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Yes, within Israel.

But then, Israel rejected her Messiah, and so God could not do that which He said He would do, and instead of giving her the kingdom she was promised, she was cut off, temporarily, until the fullness of the Gentiles was fulfilled.

But it’s true, the original gospel was largely lost

No, it wasn't lost.

It was put on hold.

and replaced by the institutional church.

No, it wasn't replaced. God simply stopped working with Israel, and started working with the Gentiles.

There was some sense that Jesus would “soon return” while the apostles were still alive.

Yup. So then why didn't He? Several years later, and Christ still hadn't returned, and that was written about by Paul.

Eventually the original gospel will be preached again and the dormant kingdom will come alive among believers.

Correct. Just not how you think it will, though.

Jesus will return but just for a visit, our world isn’t his home.

Jesus will return to reign ON the earth for a thousand years. And then comes the Great White Throne Judgement, where you, Caino, will be judged for rejecting Christ as your Savior.

Within Israel???

The Gospel was for all the world not just a self described "chosen people." The idea was that the monotheistic Israelites would adopt and preach the new gospel to ALL the world, but they rejected that gospel and God. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

If Israel and remained true to their sacred calling and accepted the Gospel of the Kingdom, then they would be preaching it today from the 2nd Temple.

The Israelites were disinvited, unchosen and left desolate. In the future, after the Israelites renounce their self segregated attitude they will join the fellowship of the spiritual kingdom on earth.

Jesus is already my savior, his simple, Original Gospel was sufficient unto salvation for all that heard it. Faith in God is the only requirement for salvation. But then just like the Israelites the Christians re-complicated the whole thing!

I was replying to your post which was you changing the topic. You really are not a very honest person are you? Even on the simplest matters.

Someone isn't paying attention to names, among other things.

Within Israel???

Yes, within Israel.

Not within the Gentiles.

The Gospel was for all the world

The Gospel of the Kingdom taught by Jesus was for Israel and Israel alone. Gentiles were welcome to join, so long as they converted.

It was not for the world.

not just a self described "chosen people."

Not "self-described."

Chosen by God.

The idea was that the monotheistic Israelites would adopt and preach the new gospel to ALL the world, but they rejected that gospel and God.

If by "new gospel" you mean the New Covenant, then yes, they were supposed to, but they rejected their Messiah, and so did not take it to the world.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Yup. Jesus said this to the remaining 11 disciples (since Judas hanged himself).

Guess what. They never did take their gospel out into the world, not in any significant way.

If Israel and remained true to their sacred calling and accepted the Gospel of the Kingdom, then they would be preaching it today from the 2nd Temple.

If israel had accepted her Messiah, you and I wouldn't be here discussing this, because we'd be almost 1000 years after Christ's earthly reign.

The Israelites were disinvited, unchosen and left desolate.

False.

Unbelieving Israel was simply cut off. Not thrown away, not unchosen, not disinvited.

In the future, after the Israelites renounce their self segregated attitude they will join the fellowship of the spiritual kingdom on earth.

Whatever that means...

It definitely isn't in line with what the Bible says.

DougE shared "The church, the body of Christ will not reign on earth, but eternally in heaven."

I was wondering about how that fits in with the new heaven and new earth.

Israel's everlasting kingdom will be on the Earth. The Body of Christ will live in the new Heaven with Christ.

Can you be more clear about what you're asking?

Israel will reign with Christ on earth forever.
The body of Christ has all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.

The “everlasting kingdom” was/is always spiritual.

The nation of Israel hasn’t been very everlasting, today it’s largely a sentimental retirement community, tourist destination and cemetery for those who can afford it. If it wasn’t for being adopted by Western nations after the war, it wouldn’t be the museum to a broken promise that it is today.

Jesus was the Son of God not the Jews Messiah, at least not as they selfishly conceived of an exclusively “Jewish Messiah.” Having failed to live up to their expectations, they became discredited false prophets. But some people still have faith in them.

Abraham was a "chosen individual", but it went to the collective heads of his ancestors who developed false ideas of divine providence. The OT is a layer cake of trying to explain why reality wasn't living up to their own false expectations. Later generations of Israelites were left unprepared for the Gospel of the Kingdom.
