Are you saying the Catholics are right by saying Mary is the mother of God?
We are not to say Mary is the the mother of God.
Christ became flesh and was born of Mary. Not as God but as one of us (human).

The argument regarding 'theotokos' grew out of the argument concerning Christ's Deity.

The Catholics calling Mary the mother of God makes Mary before God and Jesus.
That is why the Catholics tell us to pray to Mary instead of Jesus.
Maybe you should think about it some more.
