Tell me, GT, will you be ruled by one of the twelve apostles in the Millennial Kingdom? Or will Paul rule over you?

If you answered yes to either of those questions, you need help.
The entire saved rule with Jesus.
Jesus is in heaven now ruling and the saved ARE IN HIM.

The people used to have to justify themselves by cleaning themselves. Faith that Jesus’ blood cleans us is now what justifies us. Go study about that some more. You are blind merely believing what your choice teachers say.

You keep making that claim about how those works of the law justified (people used to have to justify themselves). That's not true. It never was true, so why do you keep making that claim?

Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

Your argument is shot because you base it on something that was NEVER TRUE. EVER.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. - Romans 3:27-31 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...1&version=NKJV

The law is not gone, GT. It's still at work.

The old law of purification/ceremonial works WERE NOT FADED and gone YET, but they are now!

The temple was still standing. The Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting in Moses’ seat.

Paul was speaking about the PURIFICATION/CEREMONIAL WORKS.

Do yourself a favor, JR, go study longer, and harder, and want the truth more than you want anything.

Go learn what Mark 4:24 means.

You say that all the time and every time I rebuke you with scripture.

God told the people to do the purification works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now go think about it some more.

God TOLD THEM TO DO IT TO JUSTIFY THEMSELVES, even though it was just a shadow and teaching tool THEY STILL HAD TO MAKE THEMSELVES OUTWARDLY CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hebrews 9:13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.

Did you read that, or did you run off before you could let the truth sink in and so you could repent?

God told them to do the works, but not for the reason you give, and nothing there says any of those works justified them before God. All those carnal ordinances had but one purpose, and that was as a yearly remembrance of sin, and pertained only to a temporary appeasement of their conscience. "By the law is the knowledge of sin"

Heb. 9:9-10 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Heb. 9:13-14 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hebrews 10:1-3
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Now, YOU go think about it some more, and while you're doing so, read the verses I gave you again.

Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

You are denying the Truth.

I am not interested in saying anything else to you about it.

I'm sure you're not. You've been caught flat footed with your skivvies exposed.

No such thing, just like no such thing as, "Hey Everyone, better news than what Jesus taught, yeah that's right, no more obedience required, just believe."

Tell me whether or not the Bible says we have to believe, have faith.

Tell me if it is to obey if you do what the scriptures say and believe, have faith.

lol

The biblical emphasis in the New Testament is faith, not works or obedience.

Only Satan would condemn obedience. Why do you condemn obedience?

Since when is being a follower as a little lamb wrong?
GT, the issue is not obedience, its why you are being obedient

If you love God you will accept His Word that says we get a reward.

There isn't a wrong way to obey Jesus' words. JESUS DOES NOT teach anything that might trick us or do us harm.
Do you obey for a reward? Or do you obey because you love God?
