The Abolishment of the Law and Religion

I'm not going to argue with you, I've quoted enough scripture to show that we are to turn from sin and obey God, even scripture that says that if we carry on sinning then we are of the devil, if you want to carry on wilfully sinning then you go ahead. That's between you and God.

And yet you haven't turned from sin of idolatry.

I understand it completely because I am already "In Christ". But you are NOT.

You know you hate the Gospel of the Grace of God because it makes you out to be a liar who teaches salvation by works a person does.

Scripture teaches that Salvation is by Grace alone, and is the result of Election: The Election of Grace, being chosen In Union with Christ before the foundation. And the Gospel of Grace by Divine Election does not include all men without exception, nor is it based upon any works a person does, as you so repeatedly tout. So, it's impossible for any person, including you, to be "In Christ" unless they have been made partakers of the Election of Grace from Everlasting Eph. 1:4-7 Rom. 11:5.

2 Tim. 1:8-9
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began

You have NOT been elected to salvation.

If you want to be saved you are going to have to come to Christ as a repentant sinner and call on Christ to save you, otherwise you are hell bound.

"Whosoever that shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

All you have to offer are silly accusations over and over as a diversion tactic, and Rom. 10:13 which you have no comprehension of.

Instead, try addressing the points I made with scripture:

While Jesus was dying on the cross God tore the veil that covered the "Holy of Holies" from the top to the bottom, Matthew 27:51. This signified the end of the Old Covenant, the law and the Jewish religion. From here on the Jews were no longer required to offer sacrifices or to practice the Jewish religion. This is why Paul said, "The Just shall live by faith" Romans 1:17. To continue to practice religion is a denial of the Gospel and justification by faith.

The words "Law" and "Religion" mean the same thing. To practice the law is to practice religion. Paul said, "For as many as are of the works of the law (religion) are under a curse: for it is written, cursed is everyone that does not continue to do every thing that is written in the book of law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law (religion) in the sight of God, it is evident: for, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH" Romans 3:10,11.

The only requirement in Christianity is faith and not works or religion. God does not accept the works or the religion of sinners, which we are all one of. Christians receive the gift of faith by hearing and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (which is the Gospel) Romans 10:17. Those that hear and believe the Gospel are sealed with the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:13 and are spiritually placed "In Christ" Colossians 3:3.

They no longer practice the law, nor do they follow a religion. The good works that will follow is because they have been born again by the Gospel, 1 Peter 1:23, and are now God's workmanship that has been created in Jesus Christ unto good works, Ephesians 2:10.

Chapter and verse that says the law is no longer in effect. Thanks.

The Christian is not subject to the law for the simple reason that Jesus fulfilled the law and then abolished it, Ephesians 2:14, 15.

To be under the law or subject to the law is to be under condemnation, Galatians 3:10, 11.

The Gospel is corrupted by false teachers that are trying to be justified by works.

Yes, it should say the gospel is corrupted by false teachers who claim they are not justified by Christ's works through them just as Jesus was justified by the works his father did through him.

You will not find any scriptures that say we are justified by what Christ does in us or through us.

Salvation is totally and completely outside of us. We had NOTHING absolutely nothing to do with our salvation.

You keep saying that. I'm beginning to think you believe it.
