These kinds of quotes are nothing more than a disingenuous attempt to divert attention away from the obvious!
We all know that automatic assault rifles have become the weapon of choice by mass murderers after the ban was lifted.
The fact that the Republican majority in the House and Senate would prefer to go on their summer vacation, rather than pass legislation to prevent those on the FBI "no fly" list from buying firearms legally, speaks volumes.
Apparently the private agenda of the NRA takes precedence over the wishes of 90% of American citizens who would approve such "common-sense" legislation.
Our conservative friends would prefer to protect the 2nd Amendment rights of a few dangerous individuals over the rights of those innocents they are all too willing to sacrifice!
Even Israel, which is surrounded by Islamic states, has far more stringent rules on private .gun ownership than currently exists in the US.
There are no governments, outside the US, that would permit individuals on their "no-fly" lists from buying weapons legally!

I'm sure that those individuals on the FBI's "no-fly" list will be forever grateful to conservatives like "Glorydaz" and the NRA for defending their 2nd Amendment rights to purchase firearms legally - including assault rifles. It's easy to get on the no fly lists......the problem is due process (getting off them) so we're not all placed on them according to the liberal whims of those who put people on the lists. This is a no-brainer you libs REFUSE to acknowledge.
You are ruled by fear, and you and others like you are trying to spread your gospel of fear.I'm sure that those individuals on the FBI's "no-fly" list will be forever grateful to conservatives like "Glorydaz" and the NRA for defending their 2nd Amendment rights to purchase firearms legally - including assault rifles.
The rest of the US electorate, however, may not be quite so understanding as to why those individuals identified as too dangerous to be allowed to fly in the air, are to be given a blank check by Republican legislators to buy weapons to endanger the safety of those same Americans on the ground!
He did not have an automatic weapon. 7 round magazines are easy to change quickly by the way.No one individual could kill 50 innocent Americans and wound another 53 without access to an automatic assault rifle with large magazines of ammunition.
Assault rifles were designed for only one purpose - so we shouldn't be surprised when disturbed "lone wolves" have access to them!
There are plenty of people in the THEY camp. You are either not telling the truth or your head is in the sand! There is ZERO talk of taking away guns from American. There is talk of future purchases of assault weapons and background checks. I don't think anyone should be against that. It's wrong to say THEY want to take away OUR guns. Silly.
There are plenty who would if they felt they could! This is simply not true. No American politician wants to take away anyone's guns.
What people want, and some politicians, too, is to regulate gun ownership and use so that we can minimize the number of deaths caused by firearms.
When you tell yourself, and others, lies like this, you are only making a bad situation worse. And so is the NRA, and the right wing media when they tell the same lie.
No one is suggesting that we ban gun ownership, or take guns away from law-abiding citizens.
I'll repeat this because I know you don't want to recognize it:
No one is suggesting that we ban gun ownership, or that we take guns away from law-abiding citizens.
That's an ironic comment given that the NRA agenda is driven by a "siege" mentality that is based on FEAR!You are ruled by fear, and you and others like you are trying to spread your gospel of fear.
No thanks.
I honesty believe that most people are not capable of making an informed decision. A person could do the same harm with four 6 gun pistols. As a matter of fact, a high caliber pistol is more deadly than a mini 14 or AR-15.He did not have an automatic weapon. 7 round magazines are easy to change quickly by the way.
You are ruled by fear, and you and others like you are trying to spread your gospel of fear.

They are, but honestly, so are 20-rounders. And even peaceful law abiding people typically shoot more at the range while practicing, when they're shooting 20-rounders instead of 7-rounders.He did not have an automatic weapon. 7 round magazines are easy to change quickly by the way.
Lord, save us: we perish. 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.Only fools have no fear. Really.
:AMR: It's like, the opposite, man. Those anti-NRAer's have that mentality. How will we defend ourselves against any of the below if we're disarmed and only the government and police are armed? Right, siege. We can't leave and they defend the borders, because we're unarmed. Plus, we don't let anybody in. Oh wait, that's what we're already doing! Oh! Hey, you guys, you already won the war, we already lost. We are free to be armed, but since such a tiny fraction of us are responsible enough to exercise that right, and we typically have to hide that we're exercising that right from you types, it looks like Europe over here, except it's like Europe but there are a lot of people who are carrying a concealed weapon (CCW). When a gun-person shows up in Europe there's literally an orders of magnitude smaller chance that it's going to end well compared with over here. That's an ironic comment given that the NRA agenda is driven by a "siege" mentality that is based on FEAR!
I fear none of those. You? Be honest.- FEAR of government regulation
- FEAR of a dictatorial regime taking power
- FEAR of crime
- FEAR of new immigrants
- FEAR of all Moslems
- FEAR of mass klilings
- FEAR of those with a darker skin color
- FEAR of terrorists
- FEAR of one's neighbor
- FEAR of change

Don't forget the ACLU you effete little toad.
https://www.aclu.org/blog/washingto...fair-watchlists-not-way-regulate-guns-america
lain: Protip: If the ACLU (An organization which is no friend of the NRA or it's membership.)and NRA are both on the same side there is a pretty good chance you are embarrassingly wrong.
 Soooo...Since you are so concerned that the safety of "The Rest Of The Electorate" is being endangered; it seems to me that if those individuals on the list are so dangerous that their right of due process needs to be violated to protect us from a terrorist attack wouldn't it be preferable to just deport them?...It's pretty easy to strike a match or half a dozen other ways one can kill mass amounts of people (just off the top of my head). Heck....Most of them aren't even american citizens.

Sound good to you?....I mean, after all, if it saves the life of one child..etc...etc.
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
