I suggested he take some time off and gain his composure. Perhaps, he took my advice to heart?
I really tapped into his sensitivities, BIG time.
The one I was affiliated with was a very strong "Dispensationalist church." They were really into the "Pauline Epistles."
They were Christ centered and Bible believing. They didn't believe in the sign gifts for today nor water baptism. They were "Right on" with their doctrine and Gospel.
I started going there when I was 12 or 13. And, left in 2008 because I moved to another state.
Yeah, that could be?
The church I attended had a very small congregation, but, preached the right stuff.

Verbal "Fisticuffs" can be pretty brutal.
Through the years they went through a number of Pastors. When I left a new one had just arrived and I don't remember his name? A past poster on TOL named Bob Hill used to belong to GGF.
Back in 2011 I saw his name here and that's why I became a regular on TOL.
There's another poster on TOL that I used to go to the same church with. However, he doesn't remember who I am.
I love the idea that there are "fellow Grace Gospel Believers" on TOL. We all seem to click.
We share the Grace Gospel that was given to the Apostle Paul by the Ascended Lord Jesus Christ and we share the same doctrines.
There are so many false gospels/doctrines here on TOL. They outnumber us. It's like being at the Alamo.
How long have you posters been members of the Body of Christ?
