What's the point in just making this thread a partisan punching bag? I could quote half of Punisher's post but it is best when the posts are actually really funny and really stupid and professions of Orthodox Christian faith do not fulfill that role, imho.

I'm not looking for simply funny or simply stupid, but silly. If you would like to debate the issue, pick it up on one of the infinite "deity of Jesus" or "is Jesus God" or trinity threads.

But absolutely, if you find a silly statement, please post it. Then let it go. This is not intended to be a debate thread. Silly is subjective, anyone can contribute. What I consider silly is not up for debate

Okay here's silly statement from Punisher1984 where he suggests it is impossible to say prisoners in Auswitz were generally worse off than the average American middle class individual:

Like I said - "better" and "worse" are relative: as I see it, both sets of people of being destroyed by the society they obey - one was put to death in a relatively quick fashoin (via death camps), the other being slowly worked into the grave chasing unrealistic standards of living society promises to give them.

The methods are different, but the end result is the same - the individuals involved are destroyed to serve the interests of society.

Obviously they are the same, except of course also we can't know this apparently.
