Even before I became a christian I was pro life and against killing unborn babies.
If you were logically consistent, you'd be against Trump's abuse of children for political gain, as much as you are against abortion.

What is the percent of the families that enter illegally that are requesting asylum?
0.1% or less?
How many of them have asked to be given a place to live? My experience is that few of them expect to be taken care of; most of them may get some help from relatives or friends, but rather quickly get jobs and find their own way.
Lacking a safety net, they pretty much have to.
Being Catholic, I support with money, food, and time, the relief efforts for those people (here legally or not) who are in need.
What's inspiring, is how few of them will even ask; they only want a shot at the American Dream. And they are willing to put it off for themselves, to assure that their children will find it.

How can you be expected to see actual issues if you can't even discern that my saying what I said to you was actually about whether you or I are pro-life or not.

What I'd actually meant was that by your own measure your comment about pro-choic-ers being hypocrites just as much points back at you; just as much finds you coming up short.
From the Pro-Life view, life begins at conception, it does not end there - those children being separated from their parents is just as much a crime against children as killing them at any point earlier in their existence.
Anyone supporting Trump on this is a hypocrite and a fool.
The fraud even said there was nothing he could do and then headed for his golf game.
But look who I am attempting to reason with - an individual who clearly has yet to look into Trump's life-long sordid past of political and financial corruption for personal gain at great pain to thousands of invididuals, over the years.
You and your fellow Trump drones are fools for believing such an individual has anyone's best interest in mind other than his own.
It just so happens, he has also always ever been his own worst enemy.
For that much, the real America can be grateful.

Trump drones ? Trump has done more for america in 15 months than the last three presidents combined. Could be your hate has simply blinded you to the facts.
Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador which are the source of most of these refugees, experienced civil wars during the 1980's has now resulted in "failed states" where gang violence has spiralled out of control!
Given that none of us has any control as to where we are born, we could all be placed in those situations where these refugees are forced to escape the horrendous conditions that are forcing these families to flee!
For self-righteous Americans to pass judgement as to who is/isn't "a descent person" based on those life threatening situations of which we are totally ignorant, contradicts Christ's "Parable of the Good Samaritan" and "The Greatest Commandment!"

Trump loses temper over border wall funding
The president complained in a private meeting that Senate Republicans won’t fully fund his wall — and threatened a shutdown in September.
President Donald Trump is getting frustrated with his administration’s own demands for border wall funding.
In a private meeting regarding the wall Monday, Trump fumed at senators and his own staff about the $1.6 billion the Senate is planning to send him this fall, according to two people familiar with the meeting. Trump wants the full $25 billion upfront and doesn’t understand why Congress is going to supply him funds in a piecemeal fashion — even though that’s how the spending process typically works.
“He’s focused on border security. And like all presidents, he wants it done now. But we’re part of the legislative process. It’s slower and deliberate," said Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), who met with Trump.
The president said at the meeting that if Congress doesn’t give him the resources he needs for border security, he will shut down the government in September, according to one of the people familiar with the meeting. He did not give a specific number, but has been fixated on getting the $25 billion in a lump sum.
In fact, the $1.6 billion figure came from Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney, who attended the meeting. Mulvaney submitted the request to Congress earlier this year, though the administration has since upped its ask to $2.2 billion.
Senate Democrats offered to provide $25 billion in border wall funding earlier this year in return for giving 1.8 million young undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship. But Trump and most Republicans rebuffed that proposal to salvage the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Democrats are unlikely to provide $25 billion for Trump's wall absent a much broader immigration deal.
