He makes no clear statement that He came to destroy the Law...and thus Sabbath keeping remains affirmed and upheld...

I don't think that way. The NT was the gospel of Paul while the Tanach was the gospel of Jesus. The NT Jesus never even dreamed it would ever be written. Yes, Jesus fulfilled the Law and expected us to do the same until heaven and earth exist. The last time I checked, they haven't passed away yet. It means there is no change at all in the Law. That's why Jesus warned us all to listen to "Moses" aka the Law. (Luke 16:29-31)

I hope you do. did you read the revelation on the old testament? I hope you do. This is what the Holy Spirit gave me when I read what you wrote.

It has EVERYTHING to do with keeping the Sabbath weekly...even in the future and in this case around 70 ad even after the timeframe of the NT itself...

It is about praying that in the time of trouble, in the future, fleeing, meaning running, not looking back or going back for your coat but getting out of Judea, would not occur on the Sabbath as on the Sabbath which OBVIOUSLY was still to be kept, there are travel restrictions beyond which, if you were to go, you would be breaking the Sabbath...

Think about that next time you are driving fulfilling your obligation as a motorist to fulfill the road rules...

Instead on the road to Emmus He relied on it to testify of Himself again...starting with Moses and all the prophets...not one word about its being done away with...

Again after His resurrection He didn't say anything about Law being done away with

as the disciples wondered after the restoration of Israel He didn't redirect them and instruct them that all that is over with...rather He said they were to spread it to the ends of the world...

See? not a jot or tittle mentioned as being destroyed or altered but that they were to give it, (the glory of Israel) to the world...He was that glory not exactly what they imagined or understood at the time...but not one word of instruction that all that was over and destroyed...He was the resultant goal of it...

Galatians 3:15 ...'Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.'

So much more so that when He sealed it at the cross with His death the first thing His followers did was hurry to bury Him and get ready to keep the Sabbath...even as He did...rested/slept and then rose...ready for first fruits festival...

So stop adding to the Word and its covenant with your Sunday or choose whatever day or every day...a Sabbath keeping remains for His people...
