The FACT is that she knew there was no guarantee that she wouldn't be required to give out marriage licenses for same sex couples.

A honest person who wasn't playing to the tone of martyrdom would have left their position due to the conflict of interest.

She is clearly abusing her authority ... which she is clearly not worthy of holding.

I have never denied that I would vote to make SSM legal, with all the misery and/or joy that walks hand in hand with marriage.

Unlike you, I am consistent in what I expect from those who work for and represent others.

The only exception I make are for self-employed business owners.
