Refuse, accept, etc. are works of the flesh a person does which cannot please God Rom. 8:8.

Salvation is by Grace 2 Tim. 1:9: To have forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His Grace Eph. 1:7, not by something a person does or does not do Eph. 2:8-9.
The only reason a person ends up in hell is because he/she was part of the world that was already condemned 1 Cor. 11:32b, the Eternally Lost world, that's why they shall not believe in Christ John 3:18, 36.
So the only belief / faith that pleases God is a fruit and gift of the Spirit given in New Birth Gal. 5:22; Eph. 2:8 to those who were part of the Eternally Forgiven World; a Righteous World, whose sins were never imputed to them, but imputed to Christ their Surety Heb. 7:22 in their stead Is. 53:6; Rom. 4:6-8.
2 Cor. 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
And then Paul said, "We pray you in Christ's stead, BE YE RECONCILED UNTO GOD" Romans 5:20.
What did Paul mean by that? Paul meant that we should accept God's great free gift of salvation that has been provided for us by Jesus Christ.

No. Paul did not mean those reconciled to God should accept or do anything.
For they were already reconciled by Christ's Death:
Rom. 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
So then, the command to "be ye reconciled to God" is only to the already reconciled, that they should now apprehend that reconciliation to God by the Faith given them in New Birth. For only once they are Born Again, Born of the Spirit, are they given Faith Gal. 5:22 which causes them to realize their reconciliation in Christ Jesus!

That's what you teach
No one is born again without hearing and believing the Gospel, 1 Peter 1:23. No one is reconciled to God without believing that Jesus has reconciled them to God. Why did Paul say to the Corinthians "Be ye reconciled unto God?" 2 Corinthians 5:20.
The Gospel calls for a response, no response is a response.

Incorrect, that's salvation by works a person does Eph 2:9!
The Truth is, New Birth is received passively by all God's Elect or Sheep, as the consequence of His Resurrection on their behalf.
1 Pet. 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead [Heb. 13:20]
All that were saved in the New Testament were saved by hearing and believing the Gospel.
God does not Zap unbelievers with the Holy Spirit. They must hear and believe the Gospel. This is why Paul wrote,
"This only would I learn of you, Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law (because you did something) or by the hearing of faith? (hearing and believing the Gospel) Galatians 3:2.
You have not been born again by the word of God, 1 Peter 1:23. Which is the Gospel, because you don't believe the Gospel. Instead you have chosen to believe the words of a heretic.

Your understanding of scripture is darkened because you have never been made Spiritual Eph. 4:18. And so you are prevented from receiving the Truth of God's Words.
1 Cor. 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
The Hearing of Faith is only for the regenerate who have already received the Spirit and been given Faith in New Birth Gal. 5:22. You see, it's only for God's Elect, because even before their conversion they were already the Children of God Eph. 1:4-5, but the only thing they're lacking is the Spirit of Adoption Who is Given John 3:27 to each one of them in their lifetime:
Gal. 4:6
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Rom. 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
But before a person is Given the Holy Spirit [Born of God], they can't spiritually hear and believe God's Words, it's impossible!
John 8:43, 47
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
It is not humanly possible for you to have saving faith in the mean, cruel God of Calvinism. It is also not humanly possible for you to have faith in a Christ that has NOT atoned for the sins of the whole world. The God and the Christ that you have faith in does not exist.

The dead can't hear God's Words, but the ones He has ordained to Eternal Life Acts 13:48, He Gives them His Spirit and causes them to Hear because they are Of God 1 John 4:4.
8,000 Jews heard the Gospel on the day Pentecost and were saved, Acts 2:41 also Acts 4:4. Some of them had participated in the crucifixion of Christ Acts 2:36.

Everyone who is Born of God shall hear and believe the the Gospel, God's Words John 8:47.
It's not contingent what they do or have done!
The devil feeds you lies and you believe them.
You don't believe the Gospel, if you did you would not be a Calvinist. The Gospel is about how God has reconciled the whole world unto himself by Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:19. You don't believe that.

You cannot believe what you believe about God and his Son Jesus Christ and be saved.
I have been a Christian for almost 50 years and I am telling you that you don't have saving faith.
