You have a major problem, because the prophets talk about both of these things:

1. God allowing Jerusalem to be destroyed and Israel scattered
2. God coming to defend Jerusalem against it's enemies

You only believe #1.
You discard #2.

Body part
There is a new Jerusalem/kingdom that cannot be shaken, Heb 12. At the end of the long reign of Christ, it is oppressed all over the world, (Rev 21) and rescued. It is never a 'city' as we know it like Portland. Then in a mere moment, there is the NHNE, which is 'new' physically (ie in terms of physics): Christ is the temple; God is the light; there is no sun.
It's called the new JERUSALEM for a reason Mr. Spiritualizer.

Apparently he's also an expert on future physics.

So is godrulz, where ever he might be these days.

The glorified body is irreversible/unconditional/unilateral since it is a metaphysical/ontological change that God will not reverse. Salvation is not metaphysical (confusion of categories on your part), but a reciprocal love relationship that is conditional and involving two parties. As in marriage, it is reversible (divorce is possible; analogies can be used both ways, so are limited). Spiritual rebirth is relational, not ontological like physical birth (so the unborn or unparent argument is lame).

You are acting like a separatist cultist or sectarian. You underestimate the work of the Spirit in non-MAD churches and overestimate what you think is the ultimate answer to all Bible problems. It is not a matter of proof texts, but a paradigm shift. To say that there are two physics after the cross violates basic redemptive principles relating to His finished work. To fail to see the unity of John and Paul is a blindspot. I can quote Paul and John or Hebrews, but you will dismiss it when it contradicts your ideas.

Well RD, get used to another kind of world: God is the light and the Lamb is the temple. Of course, that is the plain meaning of the Rev 21 text, but I'm not sure you subscribe to plain meaning! If plain meaning violates 2P2P, you go with 2P2P.

Nick M: what is the bias against the circumcision doing in your footer?
