Are you endorsing OSAS?

We can know if we are saved now, and we can know if we are saved forever.

When we are saved, we are placed IN CHRIST SO THAT CHRIST CAN PLACE US IN GOD.

If you are placed in God---then you are saved.

Now you have to remain in God and Jesus by OBEYING.

some more references for past sins:
2 Peter 1:9
9 But concerning the one who lacks such things—he is blind. That is to say, he is nearsighted, since he has forgotten about the cleansing of his past sins.
Israel future is waiting the blotting out of sins (Zechariah 13:1 KJV, Acts 3:19-21 KJV, 1 John 1:9 KJV) while the Body of Christ has already received the atonement (Romans 5:11 KJV)!

Ephesians 2:1-6
And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest…
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, 5 even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you are saved!— 6 and he raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
Here's what it really says and you ought to look at what it is you are actually citing. The first verse shows these Ephesians hath been quickened. It also shows what these Ephesians "WERE" in "time past". Then in spite of who they were, the "but now"/"but God" good news!

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Also: These Ephesians, like the rest of us today who have trusted the Lord believing the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, are saved and sealed!

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Elohiym and you gave excellent scriptures proving the sins are for past sins.

Here is another scripture:

Hebrews 9:15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

In Ro 3:25, Paul is referring to sins committed before the work of the cross, not to a believers sins committed before being saved.

"done aforetime-progegonoton"

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Paul is speaking about the CEREMONIAL WORKS.

Paul is NOT saying we do not have to obey the Word.

Jesus died and cleans us from our sins, the works the people used to have to do to clean themselves.

Jews were clean and Gentiles were unclean. The Jews were clean because they obeyed God by cleaning themselves.

The Burnt Offering; The Grain Offering; The Fellowship Offering; The Sin Offering; The Guilt Offering; Dietary Laws; Purification After Childbirth; Cleansing From Infectious Skin Diseases; Cleansing From Mildew; Discharges Causing Uncleanness; The Day of Atonement; Rules for Priests; The Sabbath; Firstfruits; The Passover and Unleavened Bread; Feast of Weeks; Feast of Trumpets; Feast of Tabernacles; Oil and Bread Set Before The LORD; the Sabbath Year; The Year of Jubilee; Circumcision.

Jesus did not die so that you do not have to obey him.

Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

The GENTILES WERE ENEMIES BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT CIRCUMCISED IN THE FLESH.

Jesus still saved them WHILE THEY WERE UNCIRCUMCISED ENEMIES.

You were not born yet and you had not yet CONFESSED YOUR SINS.

If you continue to sin after being saved, then you are to repent of those sins!

These scriptures from JESUS AFTER his death, burial, and ascension.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.

Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

Revelation 2:5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Of course, that is FOREVER.

Jesus' words are forever.
You claim that yet don't do what the Lord commanded. You're a poser. Watch, everyone. Do this, GT:

Matthew 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

Matthew 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Matthew 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

You claim James is TO you, so here you go. Do this:

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

There are 613 "points" of the law. Get on it!

Romans 11:22 KJV is not speaking about anyone today.

False. But all that matters is that Paul was speaking specifically about Gentiles when he wrote Romans 11:22.

Are you believing the gospel if you commit any of the acts Paul listed in Galatians 5:19-21? Yes or no.

Jesus had not yet died on the cross when he said that.
Jesus' blood is the blood of the new covenant.

The PHARISEES DID NOT accept Jesus, and the temple was still standing. While the temple was still standing and Jesus did not yet shed his blood for the new covenant, the old law rules and regulations for the old covenant was still in effect.

Luke 22:20
In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

A poser would be someone that claims to walk in the Spirit yet still commits the acts Paul listed in Galatians 5:19-21.

Do you walk in the Spirit?
Do you still commit any of the act Paul listed in Galatians 5:19-21?

NO! James is speaking of the ROYAL LAW!!!

James was speaking of the ROYAL LAW OF LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.

Love is not harming your neighbor that is how we love our neighbors, we do no harm to them.

If you do not harm your neighbor by not murdering your neighbor, it is good and you have obeyed a commandment of do not murder.

If you do not harm your neighbor by committing adultery with your neighbor's wife, then you have obeyed another commandment.

If you do not harm your neighbor so you do not bear false witness against your neighbor, you have done right and obeyed yet another command.

If you STEAL from your neighbor, you have HARMED your neighbor, AND NOW YOU ARE GUILTY OF BREAKING THE WHOLE ROYAL LAW OF LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.

Do you understand now? Please study what I said so that we can truly debate.

Does that mean you still commit the acts Paul listed in Galatians 5:19-21, or do you try to keep the law against coveting, etc?

The law was still in effect all the way up to Acts 20 for the little flock. They were never commanded to NOT keep it!

Acts 21:20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

Not so with us (the saved). We are dead to the law by the body of Christ!

Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
