The only baptism the Colossians were baptized with is the baptism into Christ's death (the same baptism as Romans 6:3-4 KJV which is the baptism which is "by one Spirit" 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV, the "one baptism" of Ephesians 4:5 KJV) and it's not some "ceremony" performed by man or in water, but through the faith and the operation of God!

Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

So in your opinion when did they stop baptizing new converts in water ?

What Paul preached could not be of the same gospel as Mark 16:15-16 KJV as Paul would not have been able to say that Christ sent him not to baptize (1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV).

Jesus says those he loves he rebukes and disciplines, so that they REPENT.

Jesus says ALL THOSE I LOVE. I highlighted that with caps because there are many here who say Jesus was only speaking to the Jews and gave us different words from Paul.

but he did baptize in the previous verses
1 corinthains 1:12-16
