I seriously have the best way to avoid a cold in the world. And this is no joke.
At the first sign of a cold lay on your side and pour about 5 drops of Hydrogen Peroxide in your ear. Wait 10 minutes and then drain out the peroxide and do the other ear. Repeat this process a few times per day. It will completely knock out the cold or at very least it will make the cold much less severe.
The key is you must do this at first sign of the cold otherwise it won't help much.
I've been doing this for the past few years and it's remarkable how well it works.
I think what must be happening is.... the cold forms in your sinus and the cold overwhelms your immune system therefore you eventually get sick and congested. By killing cold germs in your ear canals you free up more of your immune system to fight the cold. That's just my guess as to why it works.
Three quarters cup steaming hot water ... mixed with a teaspoon of honey, lemon juice and an ounce or two of Southern Comfort.
Another thing I do is.... I eat raw garlic (at least a clove per day). Take the garlic clove and remove the paper-ish coating, and then crush it up or cut it into small pieces. Swallow it with some water or juice. It's the crushing and cutting of the garlic that releases the helpful germ fighting agents.WOW!
That's how I clean my ears!
Unfortunately for me...the first sign of this cold was last Thursday.
But I'll remember that!
Thanks!
