I actually joined the forum 2 years ago, but I never posted anything.

You have a lot of interesting discussions going on here.

Does one need to have a certain amount of posts here before they can upload their own avatar?

I would like to have my own avatar rather than pick one that the forum provides, but I can't figure out how to do it.

You will need 2 weeks and 50 posts. (you already have more than 2 weeks membership so all you need now are some posts).

It helps to sort of size up the place to learn the etiquette as well as the rules.
