Muslims burn 43 more to death....because the 40 last week wasn't enough

Has nothing to do with MAD, Arthur Brain.
Nothing.

I wasn't talking about 'Mid Acts Dispensation' MAD but rather 'Mutually Assured Destruction', which has everything to do with the topic of nuclear warfare. I presumed you would have got that connection.

I'm all ears for your better solution, Shagster.
Pony up, let's hear it.

Oh gee, that's a tough one. Let's see...how about a course of action that doesn't actually involve nukes and doesn't put the whole world at potential risk?

Total insanity.

so all we have to do is ask them to get rid of their nukes?

I don't think anyone has considered that

Puff and pass.

That's rich coming from you. You waded into this thread trying to have a go at Shag for taking Nick literally where it came to nukes remember? All that condescending 'figure of speech' crap?

You went real quiet since shown Nick literally meant each word of his demented stance...

I needed to answer your question in the chatbox that you thought was clever.

Not especially, no. And way to be late to the party.

You asked who he would nuke. That is a bit like that crummy Star Trek movie a decade or two ago...

Part V. It sucked. And one of these is not like the other.:chuckle:

And since you seem to forget how he rolls, here is a reminder.

Which has nothing to do with the actual question or your own personal willingness to destroy the planet. (Funny how paper tigers and chicken hawks are the ones who always talk toughest.)

You're a homicidal, demented, deranged, depraved, crazy, stupid, armchair maniac. Fortunately, a sociopathic chump like you doesn't pose a threat to anyone because you're all talk.

Hey, Musterion! You ready to admit you were wrong about this guy? Or are you digging in your heels and sticking to your "he can't possibly mean it" crap?

Really?

you see the books of acts full of believers with swords?

Its only mentioned twice once when James was killed with one once when the prison guards was about to stab himself with his.

We also see many violent incidents in acts and no point to we the disciples fighting back, or drawing swords.

All you have to suggest that they are tooled up is one instance where Jesus tell them to take one sword, they use and he rebukes them for it.

Hardly a case for saying the wearing of a sword and violent retaliation was standard for the disciples.

the apostles were shlepping all over the dusty, hot middle east carrying swords

why do you suppose they were carrying swords?

to toast marshmallows and make smores?

Pony up, let's hear it.

Better solution? I don't find nuking innocent people to be a solution at all.
Many innocent people would die and still many of the bad guys would not.

Any solution would be better than that.

But feel free to continue with your fantasy of a mass abortion via nuke.

The real problem is your idiocy. ISIS members are scattered all over. You nuke a place so a few ISIS members and a lot of babies and women will die. And the problem would still not be solved.

ISIS has murdered far more Muslims than they have people of any other group. So I think it should be the responsibility of the Muslims, themselves, to stop this from happening. But there is little we can do to facilitate that solution because we won't support anything that might bring Muslim nations together, especially militarily, or bring soldiers from other Arab nations into Iraq for any reason.

We have been working for many, many decades to keep Arab nations divided against each other, for our own economic benefit. And because we have been successful at maintaining this disunity, we have lain the foundation for radicalized Muslims to flourish unchecked by other muslims. So basically, our own meddling has created the problem, and our own meddling has rendered us unable to stop it. So that now, everything we do over there only incites more chaos and violence, and encourages the killing.

So the truth is that there really isn't anything we can do, now. We've made a total mess of it, because all our decision and actions in that part of the world for the last 75 years were based on our own self-interest (oil). And everyone there is at enmity with each other, and sick to death of us, as a result of it.

Are you forgetting all of the Coptic Christians who have been and continue to be slaughtered? And are you forgetting the Armenian genocide perpetrated by the Turks who almost obliterated Armenian peoples from the face of the earth?
Apparently you believe that all Americans, except minorities, are guilty of the worst atrocities and we deserve to die?

riiiight, because before they started pumping oil, that was a very peaceful region of fluffy bunnies and pink unicorns where everybody hugged and sang kumbaya

looks like you had an extra portion of stupid with your cornflakes this morning

you gotta stop doing that :nono:

I am amazed that you read that post and came away from it thinking this response. I truly am.

For the last 75 years (since oil was discovered there), the U.S. has been meddling in the political affairs of these Arab/Muslim oil-rich nations. We have backed coups and installed puppet tyrants. We have instigated wars and back both sides so that neither side could win. We do everything we can to keep the governments there weak, in spite of all their oil money, by selling them antiquated military equipment and limiting their ability to use them (no spare parts, and no training). Yet we arm them well enough for them to keep their own people in line, and to keep their neighbors all nervous and suspicious of each other.

But after 75 years of our meddling, the people have universally come to resent us. And many of these weak, paranoid leaders (that we helped install) have run off the rails. They have so abused their own people so severely that they have been deposed, leaving a power vacuum in nations full of very angry, resentful people, divided against each other by politics and religion. Muslims who both hate each other, and hate us, because of the generations of strife that we encouraged and helped facilitate.

Now it's all blowing up. Three nations in a row have collapsed into bloody chaos in just the last few years, and the remaining nations are in a panic to keep control of their own countries. And in this environment, the most ruthless will rise to the top of the food chain. And that's exactly what's happening.

And the truth is there is next to nothing we can do about it, because we still make all our decisions based on our own greed and self-interest, and everyone in that part of the world knows it. So we have no trust, whatever, in the region, and if we dare to intervene, they will either unite with the ISIS killers to fight against us, or they will fight against both the ISIS killers AND us.

ISIS just kidnapped more, I'm pretty sure. It was all over CNN. Who exactly is forgetting them?

And are you forgetting the Armenian genocide perpetrated by the Turks who almost obliterated Armenian peoples from the face of the earth?

What does this have to do with anything?

Apparently you believe that all Americans, except minorities, are guilty of the worst atrocities and we deserve to die?

Ridiculous. Inane. Out of nowhere. What are you talking about?

PureX correctly pointed out we've made a mess out of the Middle East thanks to our ignorance, imperialism, and non-stop meddling. And then you respond, predictably, like a defensive American who simply can't listen to any kind of criticism of country without going off the rails.

And doesn't even fix the problem it is intended to fix. Isis is spread out over several countries. We'd have to nuke the entire middle east, Europe, Africa and even places in North America to rid the world of ISIS that way.
