When are Believers sins washed away by blood of Christ ?

When are Believers sins washed away by blood of Christ ?

Was it before they had Faith in Christ ? The answer is absolutely YES, Rev 1:5

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

John here is without mistake speaking of Believers when He writes:

"Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,"

Now the question is, Did He both Love us and Wash Us from our sins before we had Faith in Him or Believed in Him ? Again the answer is Yes. Now what does the word wash means here ? Its the word luo and means:

I loose, untie, release, (b) met: I break, destroy, set at naught, contravene; I break up a meeting, annul.

It means : equivalent to discharge from prison

to loose one bound, i. e. to unbind, release from bonds, set free

Its a word that is equivalent to what Paul wrote here about Believers Rom 6:7

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

For the person who has died [with Christ] has been freed from [the power of] sin.

When are Believers sins washed away by blood of Christ ?2

All for whom Christ died, died with Christ when He died for them in their place and stead and for their eternal benefit. Now when He died for them and they with Him, that made them legally dead, thats why Paul writes to the Corinthians 2 Cor 5:14

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

This is the same principle being applied as like when the one Adam sinned and died, all died Rom 5:12, so likewise when Christ died for them He died for, they all died, became dead because of it. Thats what Rom 6:7 also denotes Rom 6:7

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Which in turn makes them Legally dead, they are freed from sin, which also means they are Justified from it and deemed Righteous before God !

The word freed in the original is the greek word δικαιόω and means:

I make righteous, defend the cause of, plead for the righteousness (innocence) of, acquit, justify; hence: I regard as righteous.

This is because through the Subtitutionary death alone of Christ for them, God has cleared them of all legal charges Rom 8:33-34a, and all legal punishment due for any wrong doing, which is also a branch of the forgiveness of sins, and so by that they are by God declared Righteous ! Now all this takes place in the court of heaven before Gods Law and Justice before they believe, in fact, it is this fact what must be revealed/made known to them in order for them to embrace it, receive it with God given Faith !

When are Believers sins washed away by blood of Christ ?3

Once again, its vitally important to understand, that the fact itself of being freed or loosed from the punishment of their sins, it was before they believed, as was the fact that Jesus Loved them and gave Himself for them Eph 5:25;Rev 1:5 before they believed, So the conclusion must be this, to say that anyone Christ died is not totally 100 % Justified from all sin, and 100% declared Righteous before an Holy God before they believe, its a false teaching for one, its also a disparagement and derogation of the Death of Christ and its accomplishments, it denies the effects of Christ's blood before Gods Law and Justice, and so such a teaching as this is condemned by the Truth of scripture, hence so it must be defended in these days of Apostasy, that based solely upon Christ's Obedience unto death ALONE, the Many whom He represented are made Righteous Rom 5:19, hence in essence Rom 5:19 and Rev 1:5 are stating the same thing ! They were both freed from sin and made righteous before they believed, and is why they shall one day believe by and through the Gospel !

Now understand something, If we teach that one is not Justified by works, but turn around and teach that one is Justified before God by or because of their believing, then we just contradicted that one is not Justified by their works, since believing, the act of Faith is a work, its a Gospel evangelical work, an act performed by the mind, either the regenerated mind or the unregenerate mind or heart !

Its The Righteousness of God not of man/adam !

Its The Righteousness of God not of man/adam !

Even in the beginning of Creation, man at his most innocent, before the fall, before sin entered into the world by Adams Transgression, man in his pristine condition, in his unsullied uprightness, even then his righteousness was far below that which God requires and takes pleasure in, because the Only Righteousness which would meet His High Glorious standards, would be that which came through the God ? Man, the Lord Jesus Christ ! Its the Righteousness of God, revealed from heaven Rom 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Now only those Christ Lived and died for are Justified by this Righteousness of God, and not of man ! This Righteousness of God is Imputed unto all for whom He died, and no obedience of theirs had anything to do with it, in fact its charged to them even while they are unbelievers and enemies in themselves.

See this is the Righteousness of God, and nothing the creature can say or do to attain to it, to contribute towards it, No, its Solely by the obedience of One Rom 5:19 , Jesus Christ the Righteous, the Lord God Our Righteousness !

True Believers Cannot Sin !

True Believers Cannot Sin !

1 Jn 3:9

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Now understand something, this verse is not speaking of who the believer is as born of the flesh, but who he or she is as born of God, incorruptible seed 1 Pet 1:23

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The One born again of Incorruptible seed does not commit or perform any acts of sin, frankly its impossible !

Now the flip side is this, the believer in his old man, the flesh cannot stop sinning, its like Paul states here of the Believer Rom 7:25

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Now , what is that Seed which remaineth in the one Born of God ? The word seed sperma means:

C.whatever possesses vital force or life giving power

i.of divine energy of the Holy Spirit operating within the soul by which we are regenerated

Its the Holy Spirit, a vital life giving power, and it is said to remain in the born of God one, to abide in him, the New Man[Eph 4:24] Born of God, of Incorruptibel Seed

Lets Look at Eph 4:24

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The New Man is a New Creation of God, not that one in Adam, this must be understood !

The New Man, is a New Creation, and Born out of Incorruptible Seed, he cannot sin !

This Man cannot apostatize from the Faith either ! For he is in constant persuasion of the Spirit of God.

The Seed abiding or remaining is that same unction and teacher John writes of in 1 Jn 2:27

27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

2 Jn 1:2

For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

Now the thing which is confusing is this, Both who the believer is in his old man nature from adam, and who he is in his New Man Nature by New Birth, the Two are mixed, mingled, or blended together, but God sees them as different and can distinguish them from one another !

But be assured upon scripture testimony, he that is born of God does not commit sin at all, because he is born of God !

Because forgiven, we are quickened !

Because forgiven, we are quickened !

Col 2:13

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Being quickened or made alive together with Christ experimentally by a New Birth, its the direct effect and result of Christ, having died for us, and by that putting away our sins before Gods Law and Justice, which equates also to forgiveness. All for whom He died and put away their sins, which sins constituted death Rom 6:23 which includes in this life being born spiritually dead, they all shall be made alive or quickened from or out of spiritual death, as evidence, proof, that the reason for their spiritual death in the first place has been absolved, abolished, that being the putting away of their sins, and so in time, by the Justice of God and for proof of it, they are made alive /quickened together spiritually by their Head and Saviour, hence He must be a Lifegiving or Quickening Spirit 1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

This is that which Jesus alluded to here Jn 5:21

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son[The Last Adam] quickeneth or makes alive spiritually whom he will.

He makes alive everyone , by His death He put away their sins ! Quite frankly, one cannot have had Christ die for them, and put away their sins from before Gods Law and Justice, and not be quickened, made alive because of it ! We are quickened by the Son, because we have been forgiven all trespasses for His Name sake, beginning with Rom 5:15

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

That word offence is the same greek word for trespasses in Col 2:13

The word paraptōma:

I.to fall beside or near something

II.a lapse or deviation from truth and uprightness

A.a sin, misdeed

Those Christ died for have been forgiven of all of them, and so as proof of the same, they are quickened together with Him, to the Glory and Grace of God !

Its the forgiven and quickened who call upon His Name !

Its the forgiven and quickened who call upon His Name !

After those Christ died for, putting away their sins, trespasses before the Justice if God, and then made alive or quickened because of it Col 2:13, these are the Ones who are given to Call upon the Name of the Lord as a reaction to what He has done for them Ps 80:17-18

17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

You see that ? Its no if ands or buts or maybes to it, Quicken us O Shepherd of Israel Ps 80:1 and we WILL call upon thy Name !

So those who Call upon His Name here Rom 10:13

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved/or quickened.

Its whosoever has been forgiven and quickened that Calls upon His Name, and no others !

Absolutely, His Spirit is in them, so they shall call upon His Name, even continually, day and night!

So it would be Unjust with God for them not to be made alive spiritually since no sin is charged to them!

Sure! God charged / imputed their sins to Christ's charge as their Covenant Head and Surety
before the foundation Heb 7:22; Is. 53:6. They were crucified with Christ Gal. 2:20
and risen with Him Eph. 2:4-5. So, therefore how is it that God would be Just in not quickening
them in time, whom He had Chosen in Union with Christ and predestinated to become His Adopted Sons Eph. 1:4-5
whom He Loved so much John 3:16-17? For His Son and His Body are One Eph. 5:25, 32!

It’s all about interpretation. The Bible is filled with God and different men’s meanings about God.

The finite human being will never, ever completely grasp the infinity of God.

We may believe the Bible is “inerrant,” but we should not then assume that our understanding of it is also inerrant.
