Resist! I do. My brothers and I go into stores all the time without our masks as a test.
- Most of the time nobody says anything.
- A few times someone says something and we make them put up or shut up. and we win.
- Rarely we conform only if its a place we really need to get into and just want to avoid a drawn out scene.
Think for a moment, Chair. Use your God-given brain.
If wearing a mask cannot protect the wearer significantly more than not wearing a mask, then it isn't going to protect the people around the wearer, because the same way that particles go OUT of the mask, they can also go IN, which is something that the second video on the site demonstrates CLEARLY.
In other words:
Wearing a mask won't protect you, the wearer, from any thing. and Video 2 shows that wearing a mask won't protect others either, let alone the wearer.

The reputation of Marine basic training is that it is tough going but this really does take it to another level. Also, this is an environment where those in charge do not mess around. There was surely close to 100% compliance, as compared with, for example, a typical college campus.
What were the results? The virus still spread
though 90% of those who tested positive were without symptoms.
Incredibly, 2% of the CHARM recruits still contracted the virus, even if all but one remained asymptomatic.( 51 of 1,848)
