Here's a funny Huggins/Calapari story:
Calapari grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh called Moon Township. It's where Robert Morris University is (they were a 16 seed), and it's also where the Pittsburgh airport is.
In 2002 Huggins was in town scouting a high school player, and suffered a heart attack at the airport. As the Moon Township paramedics were taking him to the hospital, Huggins said to the paramedic "please don't let me die".
The paramedic said to Huggins: "I'm John Calapari's cousin, and I'm not going to let you die until Cal beats you at least once" *
*at the time, Huggins was 5-0 all time against Calapari.
