Basketball is one sport I have never been able to get into. Give me football or hockey but no basketball or baseball. I don't even mind the MMAs but no basketball. My son and his friends like to come over and watch the OKC Thunder but still no go for me.

I'm not a huge basketball fan either but I can enjoy it. And the NCAA Tournament might be my favorite sporting event of the year.

Kentucky and West Virginia, Kentucky. I wonder if the Hatfields and McCoys will take shots at each other before during and after. Yeah, I had to do it.

Bob Huggins is 8-2 all time against Calapari.

January 7, 1993: Cincinnati 64, UMass 53
January 27, 1994: Cincinnati 76, UMass74
February 15, 2001: Cincinnati 66, Memphis 65
March 9, 2001: Cincinnati 89, Memphis 79
March 3, 2002: Cincinnati 80, Memphis 75 (OT)
March 1, 2003: Memphis 67, Cincinnati 48
March 6, 2004: Cincinnati 83, Memphis 79
March 5, 2005: Cincinnati 62, Memphis 60
March 27, 2010: West Virginia 73, Kentucky 66
March 19, 2011: Kentucky 71, West Virginia 63

Here's a funny Huggins/Calapari story:

Calapari grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh called Moon Township. It's where Robert Morris University is (they were a 16 seed), and it's also where the Pittsburgh airport is.

In 2002 Huggins was in town scouting a high school player, and suffered a heart attack at the airport. As the Moon Township paramedics were taking him to the hospital, Huggins said to the paramedic "please don't let me die".

The paramedic said to Huggins: "I'm John Calapari's cousin, and I'm not going to let you die until Cal beats you at least once" *

*at the time, Huggins was 5-0 all time against Calapari.

True story.

Nick's a Big Ten guy.

I'm guessing that he'll be rooting for the Badgers tonight.

The first three games tonight look to have the potential of really good games.

there will be no bad games today
I am just happy that I won't have to stay up late

five acc teams will be playing today and tomorrow
nd has beaten them all
see what I did there town
nd has beaten themselves at least two times

Wow. What a rout by Kentucky. And some of the ESPN guys thought WVU could make that a good game.

Disappointed Wichita and UNC couldn't pull those games out.

Glad Arizona won.

Despite what the announcers said last night, I'm not so sure the New York Knicks could beat Kentucky.

ND's only chance is if they shoot over 50% from beyond the arc.

Other than that, I don't know how else Kentucky can be beat.

It was amazing.

The game was over in the first five minutes.

They could have beat WVU by 60 if they really wanted to.
